PS5, Steam Deck and Playdate?
Yup. As it has done for the last 4 generations.
But again, this console war pales in comparison to the might SNES and Mega Drive war.
Most games are LGBT friendly but don't feel the need to make such a thing of it. This pandering doesn't endear the game to me.
This game looks great! Liked the look of it from the first reveal and this new gameplay snippet got me more interested.
They can provide all the tech in the world but it doesn't mean much without games.
Looking at the comments on twitter I guess, as a UK citizen, I was extremely lucky to bag a 2021 model with cover. I was hit with a shipping error and a payment rejection but still managed to get my order in, in under 10 minutes.
It certainly seemed to be more popular than even Panic expected I think
Not played this game in ages. I really thought it would have legs but I'm not keen on the way they keep needing with the available events. Deleted it some time ago and likely won't reinstall. Was fun while it lasted though
I add them all to my library but I rarely play them. The last game I received on PS Plus that I spent some time with was Destruction Allstars and even that has been uninstall now.
On PS4vi could probably count on one hand the number of PS Plus games I played through. I just don't bother with them
They're free in a sense though. I'm not paying extra for them outside of my PS+ subscription which costs me £50 a year am I?
That would be something! Playing Freedom Wars on Steam Deck? Yes please!
I really don't care for Nintendo games any more. I owned a Switch and a Switch Lite but have sold them both. Great consoles, had a lot of fun but given that I had a PS4 and now a PS5 I would never get multi plat games for the Switch. That really leaves only Nintendo and indie games. Don't get me wrong, I like Mario as much as anyone, but that's about it. I'm tired of the same old, same old with Nintendo.
My ears explode and my eyes pop at the mere mention of 30fps
@Magog you could say the same about the Switch but people don't seem to have any issue with that do they?
Also Valve themselves said 30fps minimum. There's nothing to say that you couldn't get more our of it. Personally, on a 7 inch screen I really have no issue with 30fps or lower resolution. I also have a PS5 so I won't miss out on higher framerates and resolutions. For me the Steam Deck is absolutely perfect for my existing Steam library and games that ar...
God of War was actually 1080p/60 on PS4 Pro in performance mode.
But...it does run the latest games. Even Valve have confirmed this
I like my pulse headset. Yes it's not the best but for £90 I find very little to complain about
Ooh, if people cancel their reservations I might jump up the queue 😏
Also I think people are taking this out of context. It's not locked 30fps, it's the target base framerate. Also doesn't mean that with a few tweaked settings higher framerates wouldn't be possible. Let's just wait and see. I'm happy either way. Most games on Switch run at 30fps and I don't see people complaining about that.
Same. Price wise I think it's a touch expensive but I find the whole aesthetic really appealing and the price isn't a blocker for me.
Just trying to work out the price for UK. I think, with shipping and taxes it works out at around £180. I plan on getting the cover as well, so hopefully the shipping will be for the whole order and not per item otherwise I'll be looking at well over £200.
Really looking forward to sinking my teeth int...
Well, I'm definitely ordering one. I really like the quirky nature of it and beyond the first season of 24 games I have no expectations.
What interests me the most though, is Playdate Pulp. I can't wait to have a go at making my own games. What would be great would be a way to download other people's creations in a similar manner to LBP. If this is managed correctly it could garner a really good little community
Vita was there first 😎
