my 512gb reservation says estimated availability Q2 2022. That's fine for me but if it gets pushed into 2023 then I'll probably cancel as I'll have lost interest and moved on by that point
Nah. I don't think we need another f2p arena shooter
No it won't. It's not even aimed at the same demographic.
People buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games. It doesn't matter how much more powerful the Deck is, it doesn't have Nintendo games.
Now, because of the types of games I like, I find the Deck much more appealing, but even I can see it's not a mainstream device.
I'm burning my PS5. No Psychonauts 2 means it's obviously doomed.
Gremlin. Now there's a name that takes me back. Ocean as well.
No! SNES and Super FX beats Blast Processing any day!
Mind you, blast processing does sound better
I'm surprised Sumo are valued so high
They've never gone away. Although this PlayStation VS Xbox war has nothing on the SNES vs Mega Drive. That was the console war to end all console wars.
Side note: SNES is better 😏
Me. Someone who loves handheld gaming and has wanted a way to play my Steam library without being tied to a desktop or laptop. Being able to take my steam library everywhere I go is really appealing to me.
I'm buying one for me. Sod the kids.
It won't but it doesn't need to in order to be successful.
Got my reservation in. Can't wait!
I got the cosmic red and was surprised that it's...well, it's pink. I thought it looked great in pictures but not so great in real life. I've got used to it now but I was really hoping for a deeper, proper red.
But honestly I think the original white/black colour scheme works well. Apart from the white looking dirty very quickly
Yes, and PS5 was available across multiple retailers. Steam Deck is only available through Steam and as such those numbers are really good.
@kryteris
The socket I guess. I've dunno, its was worded a bit strange.
I'd like to see a teardown though, really interested to see what's going on inside
How is he lying? Is Returnal not a new IP?
Yes. They have added this to their website that all models have an M2 2230 socket but it's not user replaceable
Steam say it's not user replaceable. I think if you're tech savvy you'll be able to do it yourself but I think the idea will be that you will be able to select from some additional storage options and Valve will customise to your requirements before shipping. A bit like how you can choose from various options when buying a laptop from Dell and the like.
E3 is no fun for the consumer either.
As usual Pachter is right again. Since the PS5 has been selling so badly I think it's only a matter of time before they pull a Sega and get out of the hardware race. Because they haven't been at E3 people have completely forgotten they exist. I mention my PS5 to people and they say don't even know what they are. Sony is doomed.

OK Tencent that'll do now.
