Count me as one of those people! I was lucky enough to get my PS5 day one
I know it's marmite but I absolutely love this game. When I played it on PS4 it really wasn't what I expected but I found the whole experience to be weirdly chilled out. Now playing through again on PS5 it feels like a new game with the upgrade. It makes great use of the DualSense haptics and triggers, and it feels so much smoother now it's running at 60fps. Also the load times are vastly improved.
My GOTY 2019 just might be my GOTY 2021 as well.
Maybe, although I'd still rather get an SS over an SX. Reason is that I have a PS5 and I have very little interest in Xbox games, and if/when I do decide to get one it'll be relegated to the bedroom so for me to buy an SX would be a waste of money for use on a 1080p TV. As a pure Gamepass machine the SS is really good value for money
