To further devalue the console.....
Clouded your mind is by the dark side of gaming.
MS never confirmed closure of the studio, they stated that closing of Lionhead was in discussion with staff.
It's a good thing it not a game, thankfully the hideous young Conker is non canon.
Likely decreased CPU and GPU overhead.
It plays like Quake mixed with Halo, with a very strong emphasis on movement .
My main issues with this game are team balance and lack of team colours. I personally don't like having to rely on IDtag colours to know who is an enemy . Having team colours would also cut down on camping. The specialist in my opinion are pretty fair, however their voices and show-boating are annoying, but the later in no way impacts balance. There are also the same 'rare wtf' hit detection moments and excessive lag compensation issues that have plagued the series since last ge...
Drake pulls a guard off of a several story building, causing him to fall to his death.
He is largely good but has some grey, in Uncharted 2 he murders a museum guards after stating he wouldn't kill them.
Aside from lion head, the closing studios are tiny and Kinect/ mobile focused.
@Deathdeliverer Project Spark is was dead on arrival, the general market doesn't care for games based around user created content. MS has Minecraft which generates bank like crazy, downloads, physical sales and merchandise. They have no need to further promote Project Spark, the game was interesting in concept , until you used it,plus the games had terrible technical performance.
Nah, spark engine was crap. Any Conker game or revived old rare IP, should be made by either a bigger first party studio or an established triple A dev.
I'm glad they aren't investing heavily into Kinect anymore, it's a money sink. They can now instead invest in the first party ips people want and triple A partnerships with external studios. They did surveys and polls of what people wanted and Kinect games were never requested . It is still sad to see studios close though, the game is industry is ever increasingly unforgiving.
They certainly aren't investing into kinect (nobody really cares for it anymore.) A lot of those potentially closing (or closed) studios are tiny with the exception of Lionhead. I assume if Lionhead closes, some of the employees might be moved to Rare LTD, since it is also UK based.
It not yet offical, but is seems likely. MS has had some terrible PR for the past few months, Xbox One losing exclusives, XBL issues, Young Conker lol and now potential loss of two studios .
The studio probably didn't generate much revenue for the past 6 years.
I would rather they not close studios, so people don't lose their jobs.
I think they may be focusing more on outsourcing, which is unfortunate. I hope lionhead doesn't close, but rather restructures.
No, phantom dust was a triple AAA original Xbox game.
I was expecting Skorge to be a more likely guest character than RAAM, since he is more agile. I assume RAAM will be a slow hard hitting character .
