more like 25x5 here..
pro-life is extreme?
killing babies is pretty extreme too imo
but maybe that's just me
Most Nintendo gamers demand Nintendo games, and for the most part, they buy them.
NSMB: 15m
MK: 22.5m
SMG: 9m
SMG2: 2.8m (in 6 weeks)
SSBB: 9.5m
Zelda TP: 5.6m
Super Paper Mario: 2.25m
MP3: 1.6m
Punch-out: 1.1m
Pretty much every Nintendo published or developed game sells a million. The article mentions MP Trilogy not reaching 600k.. but keep in mind 1 and 2 combined for about 4m, and 3 and the t...
Mario galaxy 2 is one of the best reviewed games of all-time
you basically hit the nail on the head though. Nintendo brings back familiar worlds often, but manages to make them amazing time after time. Not only that, but they consistently release more games each year than just about any other developer out there.
I as well game mostly on my PS3 but I am a die-hard Nintendo fan. As developers they have created some of my favorite games each and every genera...
I don't typically trust a single review for any game. But when a game has 50 reviews and the average is a 7, thats plenty of information for me. I'm not saying those 7 games can't be a good time, but there are far too many 8.5+ games these days for me to have any interest in something that 9/10 people felt was mediocre.
I don't think there is anything at all wrong with trusting the wisdom of crowds when it comes to entertainment. Reviews simply cut the whea...
will effectively put all other games on hold for about 3 years.. for me anyway.
Patapon 3 Multiplayer demo!!??
I didn't even know a Patapon 3 was in the works. And with multi.. I hope its awesome. I looooved the Patapon games.
But out of the 8 or so scores I've seen, they have all been between a 6-8. True this game is still probably fun but it looks like its not going to live up to anyone's expectations and certainly isn't going to make a big splash critically or commercially.
By the way, not judging games on reviews doesn't make you a "true gamer" lol.. get your head out of your ass. I'll trust the wisdom of crowds over spending the time and money to find out for mys...
Was thinking Mario games should be a kids games.
Mario games were and always will be gamer's games.
Besides, if this guys kid can get through Monster Hunter Tri and not Mario... well, that's his problem. Can't fault SMG2 for being challenging at times.
If you already have one...
why would you spend that much on an "upgrade" when you could buy a PS3 or Wii.. or new speakers.. or a bunch of games.. or whatever else you can imagine...
Then that would be the greatest birthday present ever.
Lucky me!
I'll be keeping an eye on this one
Xbox, Pause!
Xbox, Play!
Outside of that....
Its by FAR the best lineup I've seen before a system's release. 73 games so far announced. How many of those games will be launch titles, and which ones, is yet to be determined.
Smash Bros 3D
Its bound to happen.
But yeah.. my god what an astounding list. This thing is going to have crazy support moving forward and I really think consumers are going to gobble up a lot of software.
one of the best lineups I've seen for a new system. I wonder how many of them will be launch titles.
Would make the most sense I think. Or it could be released at a lower retail price point.
Looks like a solid beat-em-up game to me. No need to draw comparisons to Batman AA, as they are completely different styles of gameplay. I think this game could be a lot of fun, don't count it out yet.
The originality is all in the level design which is absolutely second to none. There are few games that can boast that. It's amazing when a direct sequel can feel fresh the entire way through thanks to the imaginative, diverse, and clever level design.
I've got a feeling there will be a lot of scores in the 70s and low 80s. Probably will end up with a metascore of just under 80. Just a gut feeling.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a good round of smash bros with some friends, but the vast majority of my gaming is me going it alone. I already have the PS Eye and for $50 to try out the Move for Heavy Rain, RE5, KZ3, Socom, and a slew of new games is a no-brainer.
For those without the eye yet, $100 is not that intimidating of a price-point for the bundle. No core gamer is going to be telling themselves they will have to buy more controllers. If there ever comes alo...
