Indeed. "Less frustrating" is for sure a more accurate description of what they mean.
"Enslaved is a single-player-only game, which is reportedly quite short in length (I’ve heard between four and twelve hours from beginning to end) and doesn’t feature elements which would typically aid a game’s replay value. On the flip side, Borderlands was a huge game in terms of content, had both single and multiplayer functionality, and even had a mode dedicated to a second playthrough. You could literally spend dozens of hours in that game world and still be experiencing stuff for t...
They are providing a service. They buy used goods and resell them, so they deserve every bit of profit they make from it. No one is stopping publishers from taking part in the used game market, its their own damn fault for leaving it all up to Gamestop to provide for that consumer demand.
Besides, Gamestop isn't the only way to buy used games. Ebay, Craigslist, ect. There isn't always a middle man, but even when there is, you cannot argue that buying and reselling a product ...
okay then.
not to mention used cars need new parts from time to time.
They aren't the same and never have been, and anyone who frequently sells their games does so in order to buy new ones.
It honestly doesn't matter jack shit whether or not the developer doesn't make money off of used sales, that's just the way a market works. There is no sense in crying over it, because its never going to be illegal (or wrong) to sell your personal property to individuals or businesses.
I wish this would come out soon.. been playing torchlight lately to keep me from going crazy. After that I may have to reinstall D2. I fear the addiction that will ensue..
Apple who?
...let alone front-page news?
Few games can create an atmosphere and mood like Fallout 3 does. There are so many quests to complete, areas to explore, weapons and armor to find... there just aren't many games like it that make you want to keep playing just to see what is just down the road over over the next hill.
There is so much freedom to go where you want, do what you want, help (or kill) who you want... it really is unprecedented in gaming.
It's not a perfect game, there a...
and then you may get some nibbles, Sony. $200 is still asking too much.
however I'll still play this as I am a big fan of the genre. I think it will be a decent game.. but it probably won't hold a candle to D3 when all is said and done.
even if the price is $300 (I'm expecting a $250 price tag though)
The 3DS is going to keep Nintendo rich for quite awhile.
They might as well hold off from releasing a new console for at least another 2 years.
Let's just absorb that fact for one second and then move on with our lives knowing his opinions are about as bad as you can find in gaming media.
Honestly, I've never read a single Hatfield review that I've agreed with. And that would be quite a few.
I sure as hell am not. Knew this would be a fantastic game from the first time I learned of it.
my guess, second opinion.
Moving the system around changes the camera angle. How ****ing badass would that be.
Castlevania, anyone?
"Our approach has been different, because we feel that a controller is the best way to play games like Halo or Call of Duty."
Keyboard/Mouse >>>>>> standard controller
And motion control has already been proven to work well with FPS games. If the Wii can do it well, then Move can do it even better.
But notice the only games that he can think of, the only genre that is, is FPS. Way to illustrate your point, Greenb...
No one mentioning patapon, monster hunter, or burnout legends.. and though its not my cup of tea.. no gta either??
