Oh I am. I want to play single player as well. I have been fortunate enough to be able to give that a try and I am ready for more!!
It finally has a use. This thing was for humiliation only in the original starcraft multiplayer!
I really don't understand the regional divide from their development pillair perspective. Connecting everyone was one of the goals right?
I know connecting iceland with australia is a major round trip time disaster, but I do really dislike the fact that it is just being made impossible.
YES YES YES FINALLY. Now its time to play, cya!
I can't believe it. I need to see it to believe it after this many rumours :(
Normally I would be so excited but now I view everything from a wait and see perspective.
finally finally finally!
Well that depends on how you define "news". These screenshots are new, no matter how you look at them.
@Leord: yea well, that was weirder. It is an interesting concept, but just providing the HQ stuff right after would have done her more justice I think. People are spewing their opinions based on a pixelated version of her.
Its really weird getting the first few impressions through such a show, but I am happy to get all the previews I can get ofcourse :D
Most likely. It would be bad press if the servers go down under the load, even if this happens in beta.
@Rovdjuret: Its a bit early to judge on the qualities of the sequel since it hasn't even gone into beta yet don't you think?
Well their "beta" servers do not have to be able to handle that kind of load, but it should be no problem on the servers setup to handle the release version of the game.
It still seems like a bit far fetched to me but it would be nice to end with some sort of open beta phase for those who do not get access tot the closed phase.
Maybe they want to make up for the waiting a bit by giving it to their fans just a bit earlier? I mean, Blizzard beta is more of a marketing tool then beta anyways so.
Interesting. Blizzcon is always fun!
I loved the original, but does anyone know if this new chapter will be any good?
Correct. But do notice the subtile difference. This is about the Starcraft II requirements. The requirements mentioned in the news are those for the Beta version of the game. This basically means they probably won't go up much ;)
This is pretty big news. It seems the beta is only a matter of weeks nog maybe even days. finally!
Well it might very well be that everything is coming online and an actuall start is within now and a week or 2. We can only hope ofcourse, but why not :D
While the Blizzard beta seems more of a marketing tool then anything else it is still a serious beta. If major issues arise it might be prolonged.
It will be a good sign when the features that are still locked (such as the editor) are released which means we are moving forward.
