I always wondered what this functionality was all about, nice!
Hope it gets handled a bit better this time.
While it was to be expected, I don't like this at all. I am pretty sure US and EU will see paid options as well.
It doesn't really matter to me that much since I will be doing Single player mostly but I still dislike it.
I read somewhere they try to have an active player base of about 10.000 and invite more when it dwindles?
Yea, IF everyone who is in got one that should be true. And theoretically you should get more people with love for the game since the more fanatical fans tend to get their hands on a key earlier.
I didn't see this coming, but since I am fortunate to be in beta I think it is really cool to get the chance to invite one of my friends :D
After how many parts are you a n00bnomore?
Tutorialrific can be both good or bad depending on its implementation.
It would be big news if blizzard decided to venture this way. In the past I would say it was not going to happen, but with the Blizzard - Activision merger I wouldn't totally rule it out.
Same, although it is not because they aren't fun, but because they take way to much time to "enjoy".
and money?
How is that even calculated?
Even for you there is still room to climb :)
not really for me, but I an willing to read almost anything related to Starcraft 2, so I will probably go and read this as well :p
I think it will always be like that: subject to tweakage :)
Weird, having multiple patches in such a short period. It seems there are multiple teams working on it at the same time, probably reviewing different issues of the game.
You could, and still can if they are replays made in the original version of the beta. However, I have been told that this no longer works for the patched version of the beta.
Love it. I love playing but I also love watching them replays :D
They seem to be confident that they are actually going to make it this time!
I really don't like their policy on this. They limit the user experience to much. While I understand that bending the user experience to their will as much as possible should ensure a certain level of quality, I think it would be better to keep this intercontinental option open and just flag it as "not recommended" if the latency is to high. Ladder games would either have to be excluded from this, or just allow flagged players to play on another.
