Whoa. What a wonderful example of a developer committed to his vision.
It is a bit sad when an artist is forced to take such measures in order to have their product made available to the public though.
I don't particularly have regrets about the games I own, it is usually regret over how much I paid for it.
My choice of gaming platform means I only have access to a couple of the titles listed, and I'm not particularly interested in either of them. No worries about being addicted then, huh?
Consumers don't get stale, but game franchises certainly can. When that happens, consumers will move on to something else.
It certainly is a worrying trend for games from Japan being censored in the West by visual alterations to costumes or scenes, or through dialogue changes because of localisation. Importing is an option but not always practical especially if you don't understand the language.
I hope Nier: Automata remains in its current form. I never played the earlier games but gave the demo a go and decided to pre-order.
Since I don't play GTA Online, I'd definitely be interested in a GTA game without online multiplayer if it meant a lower price.

It would be nice to have, but I already bought £35 last week and my wallet was on life support because of Crimbo.
I believe the original versions were 18+ and some scenes were removed due to sexual content. So long as there is a chance of localisation then that is enough to hope for.
I've heard about the not so great build quality of the Gold headset so I'll wait for reviews of this one.
Wasn't there a terrible Golden Axe sequel that came out last gen?
