The designs for both this and the ones used for SW:TFA Officially Licensed XB1 controllers are mediocre IMO.

I've moved on to other games some time ago. At least some content from online was added to single-player but with no new story content, there is little reason for me to play it again.

I don't think there is any motive behind the gifts besides just being nice. I do think he is likely to stay independent, considering he just opened up his own studio. Being given some t-shirts and a temporary tattoo, or a $250 games console probably isn't going to influence him.

Now other independent developers will get jealous of Hideo Kojima, and will wonder if Microsoft is going to send them an Xbox One S console too.
Perhaps gamers prefer more 'realistic' shooters or at least ones set on earth during the 20th or 21st centuries.
I agree with @theXtReMe1 in that what is missing are flight combat games. Ace Combat 7 is on the way, but a stand-alone game involving the Jackal from Infinite Warfare, or a proper X-Wing flight sim (both in VR) could do well. My dream game would be a VR remake of Colony Wars or G-Police.

Nioh is a third-party title, and some previous Koei games have ended up on PC, so it might happen.
I'm trying to cut down on pre-ordering, but every so often there will be a collectors edition that I really want.
