MS has flipped the switch, promoted Spencer to concentrate on games, cut TV, dumped Kinect and are about to launch in China, Japan and other countries. That's gotta be costing them quite a bit of money.
Now MS has to play the waiting game to see if it pays off.
Where is Mister X hiding at? He needs to come and post here to rescue this for the Xbox fans! /s
Thanks Doge
ChinaJoy indeed.
Custer's Revenge in glorious 1080p and 60fps
Well, he could appear as the final boss in an exo-skeleton!
Remedy is a good studio but perhaps Alan Wake might've sold better on a PS3. Quantum Break could be a great game, but will it appeal to the Xbox One fanbase? Xbox fans hype this game up like Alan Wake but not all that many bought it. I guess we'll wait and see.
Advanced Warfare with Kevin Spacey might turn things around?
That's one very expensive paperweight, huh?
Ted Price seems like a cool guy and I hope Insomniac finds success with Sunset Overdrive. Heck, I even pre-ordered Fuse.
HALO is a phenomenon!
(Not to be confused with the film starring John Travolta).
I wish there was going to be a Witcher 1 & 2 Remaster for current gen consoles.
I'll agree in that Insomniac needs Sunset Overdrive to be a success. Fuse was a disaster for them and I doubt the studio can handle another failure like that if they want to be successful as an independent studio. This deal allows them to keep the ip for future use, and provides financial support.
You're only as good as your last product so a lot is riding on this, moreso for Insomniac than MS I think.
Forgive my ignorance, but is Knack considered a AAA title?
How about Riley with a powered exoskeleton?
If PS4 sales are higher than the XB1 in the USA then it might go the other way. Not sure if the early access DLC will be a factor or not though.
Where is Thrill Kill, Manhunt 1&2 and Rapelay?
Slightly off topic, but is this like the PS4 launch video where the 'actor' purchased the multiplayer only portion of Killzone SF and started playing it as it downloaded?
Never say never.
Microsoft is stubborn and they can and will continue the support the Xbox One for the foreseeable future but if there is no significant change in fortune, would they eventually pull the plug?
