Fuse. Would've been so much better as Overstrike.
Reminds me of COD with bits of Titanfall, Killzone and Battlefield mixed in.
I think they should've added the Wilhelm scream.
Dead Island 2 or Dying Light? Decisions, decisions.
Everybody loves cake, amirite?
I'd like to see Nintendo release comparable hardware to Sony and MS in the next gen. I think Sega will continue with software. I thought Atari went bankrupt?
Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft will definitely be cooking something up for the next generation of games consoles.
Is this going to be a GAME exclusive again? I recall them having a 'Day One Edition' lined up for launch day alongside Killzone SF.
If someone wants to buy a 'Collectors Edition' with a statue or other physical stuff then that is their choice.
Cutting out content and then selling it as 'Day One DLC' is something I definitely dislike. So long as the content can be unlocked by playing through the game, I'm not too bothered by pre-order DLC.
Syndicate and Powermonger too!
Now, imagine of Microsoft didn't 'flip the switch' and backtrack on their original policies. What would the Xbox One install base be like and what would the support from the Xbox fans be like?
Does anyone think the situation would be better or worse if MS stuck to their guns and why?
'Next-gen'? Which company is launching a new console?
Interesting article.
Critical acclaim, reviews, and awards and such are just opinions. Not every one will agree.
Hype is something created by the media, developers and publishers to drive sales. In order to sell, you have to advertise and promote. Sometimes it means that things are exaggerated or falsified in order to gain interest (bullshots, CG passed off as gameplay, trailers or gameplay shown on 'equivalent hardware').
Some of us fall for it, some don...
Isn't this a Multi-platform game (PS4/PS3/Vita and Xbox One)? The tag is misleading even if the article is about the XB1 version.
I'm not sure if Insomniac has released a PC game before but Remedy certainly has. Also, SO doesn't really 'look' like a PC game to me, if that makes any sense. True, SO or a sequel could end up on PS4 as I tend to think it is a timed exclusive and there is nothing to suggest that can't be done on the PS4.
Back to Quantum Break, this has a much better chance to appear on PC imo because of Remedy and Alan Wake.
Fanboys will be fanboys because of human nature, but it isn't helped by some 'journalists' posting article after article to fan the flames.
And as @Godmars mentioned, for developers and publishers to be more transparent about their game and the deals they make for 'exclusives' etc.
Fanboy wars. Fanboy wars never change.
I doubt Sunset Overdrive will end up on PC. If it is a success then I'm sure MS will do what it can to keep it for Xbox only, at least the first game.
Quantum Break is a possibility for PC, but the next Gears of War will likely stay an Xbox One exclusive.
Apart from the 1TB drive, I wonder if there will be any other internal changes? I always intended to wait until a new model arrived before jumping in.
All of those listed are possible, and I would think MS, EA, Activision and ND/Sony have plans to remaster some of their games. Square Enix have announced Sleeping Dogs, and maybe Deus Ex: HR and Hitman could be next?
Mind Blowing? Is this going to be a remaster of Mindjack?
