Strewth! The expectations for this game have got to be very high considering the amount of money pledged to the game.
Make it match the PS3 features for a start.
Looks rather amusing.
Those Eyes! Those Thighs! SURPRISE! It’s The Crying Game!
There are probably going to be trophies for things like having all the chicks or dudes survive or not.
I wonder if there is going to be a Scooby Doo ending, or one like the movie April Fool's Day (1986)?
I agree, and if it were locked to Xbox then I don't think the franchise would survive for long because of the smaller install base (luckily it is only timed).
You just need to recharge it and it'll work again.
Because $$$$. But then Square Enix is also well know for doing the opposite of what fans of their games want.
Fans want Final Fantasy VII remake, here's Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns.
Fans want Final Fantasy Versus XIII on PS3, here's Final Fantasy XV on PS4 and Xbox One.
Squaresoft was well loved, Square Enix is not so great.
Okay. Perhaps it'll be clearer for me with direct footage. Thanks for pointing that out.
I'm looking forward to Driveclub on PS+ but it would've been great to see if you can completely write off your vehicle.
WTF am I reading?
I'm hoping to see updates on Deep Down, Persona 5, Yakuza 6, Final Fantasy XV and KH3 along with some new ips (JRPG's please).
I would love to see a new Level 5 & Studio Ghibli game, and even better a Shenmue 1&2 HD remaster and/or sequel, and a game from Mistwalker.
The previous generation suffered from parity. This generation seems to be about downgrades.
I don't want to hear PR guff about 'platform parity'. I want to see developers push PC, PS4 and XBox One as far as they can.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Games, games, games!
One step closer to total immersion. Imagine if they could pair up Oculus Rift with a set-up similar to an After Burner arcade cabinet?
Perhaps Sony didn't feel the need to make this a full exclusive, because of the size of the game and maybe the studio wanted to keep the ip?
Sony, MS and Nintendo have all probably had games which they passed on and were a success on another platform, and it is a risk to fund games because they might not pay off. This title is no different.
To infinity... and beyond!
The Xbox is a Dudebro console made for the USA, and the majority of successful franchises have been shooters, sports and racing games. And the majority of those games with the exception of Halo and Forza, have been third-party titles.
Other genres don't sell nearly as well on Xbox despite how 'good' the games are, because a majority of the owners don't want those types of games.
This is why MS continues to partner with EA Sports and COD, because the majority ...
Sorry if it wasn't clear.
What I meant to write was for SONY to give gamers more reasons to buy a PS4 by having great games on the console.
I realise that with such a large PS3 install base, it makes sense to cater to that in order to make money and it is great that SONY continues to support the PS3. But at some point the PS4 needs games that can only be played on the PS4 in order to sell the hardware, as you have mentioned.
That's a shame as it looked promising. I'd love to see a remake/reboot of Metal Gear 1 & 2 on the PS4.
