I agree. Both.
I like boxed version, sometimes even collecters editions. However PSN plus has free games, so who is going to say no to that. In adition it is possible to buy games digitally and have them on different platforms ( for example psp and vita ).
On the other hand its nice to be able to put a BR in your drive and not have to download and install the entire game on your limited harddrive of ones ps3 ( which i did not replace with a bigger drive )

That made me smile. Btw I'm guessing Atari shouldn't be on the list at all. The 2600 was build in the late 70's and dominated the 80's , but since this list contains consoles of the past 20 years the 2600 doesn't fit the timeframe. Anything Atari build after the 2600 was garbage.

That's a bad thing? See how many Sega's are on the list? Plenty of gamers that are now aged 15-20 might not even have seen the Dreamcast or Saturn. They won't mention it on their list if they don't know the systems.
I'd argue that the WII shouldn't even be on the list as a lot of those consoles have been collecting dust.
Then again, it is one of the best selling consoles and does have great selling games. So in general perhaps the 8 on the list is decent.
Good to see someone mentioning the Atari. For a long time the Atari 2600 was the best console around.
The atari 5200 was crap and the Jaguar was a complete failure too. When it comes to good games ( at that time ) the 2600 is the one game console of Atari that should be on the list.
Also nice to see that you have sega on your list, however the megadrive 2 and Genesis are the same console. ( European and U.S. versions ). The Sega Saturn which game after the megadrive ...
I only watched the Sony announcements, since that was the one I was interested in. However the show was pretty lame agreed.
A lot of Indi games ( some looked nice though: Rain for example ). The fact that they did give Vita quite a bit of time was nice, but other than the borderlands2 port there was nothing really new there.
As a Sony "fanboy" i was slightly disappointed

Build in memory would be a start. Or larger and more affordable memory cards. PSN plus will get your 8 to 32 GB full in no time.
The Vita has some great games. To name a few Persona 4, Muramasa , Dragons Crown and early 2014 Gandan Ronpa. It could allways use more thouh.
If you don't like those policies, don't buy the products. If enough people think that way it will end. Or just wait a bit to buy the enchanced version.
If true, it would most likely be limited to the euro-region. The XBone is more popular in the US than in Europe judging from pre-order numbers and general responses on forums.
A delay in the US would do far more damage than a delay in Europe.
Comparing the Wii with an XBone is useless and that is a mild statement.
The only way I see the XBone "dominate" anything is by far superior content on all levels. Though the game lineup is decent ( not going into the discussion which platform has the "better" exclusives") , it seems far from "dominating" so far.
Same here. I'd be content if they just make some more localisations of JP games. ( legend of heroes series , etc ). Even just English subs would be fine with me.

Hmm I just finished playing "Catherine" ( PSplus , great free title ) . When you take to "good" approach you get to marry a sighing and whining b**** and when you take badguy route you get the succubus and a bunch of other chicks. On top of that your lord of Hell. I'm happy with my "bad" choices there.
Usually I'm the good guy though :p
Don't care much for lists of which consoles have the best exclusives. I personally like japanese style games. ( rpg's , graphic novels, shooters, fighters , etc ) Since the japanese market is dominated by Nintendo and Sony I really have no incentive to buy a XBone.
If others like games like Ryse, Halo5, Titanfall, etc, etc fine. Buy an Xbone and be happy with it. Why the F*** complain about someone else's gaming preferences?

I seriously wonder if the Japanese would buy games for the 360 even if they would give the consoles away for free. ( know this is not going to happen, but just hypothetically speaking )
Keep in mind that unlike the ps3 the xbox360 is regionlocked. It is left to publishers to use this regionlock, but it might be wiser just to buy your xbox in the States.

True, but thats not the main issue. Since there are far more 3ds's out there the chances of better sales on that platform are higher. This is the most important factor for devs and publishers.
You don't HAVE to utilize all the hardware.
