I loved this game.
For me they don't have to make a "new" wing commander with online functions. An MMO space combat sim sounds much like EVE online.
I'd prefer an offline RPG/space combat combo
Why bother buying a console which has no games that you're interested in ( yet ). Both PS3 and Xbox360 have a large game library and it will take some time before the real next gen games start kicking in.
No doubt there will be enough people that can't afford a next gen console, but there are plenty out there that can afford both and than some, but for now will not purchase either.
so say we all, but in the meanwhile we all know that it will most likely be 2015 at best when we see this game in the West.
Well if they keep Atlus trackrecord those games will be released in Europe in 2018 or so. ( look at devil survivor 2 , SMT IV , etc )
If they go all Sega, well that is even worse.
No real big surprise there. Considering the audience it is marketed for. (look at the graphics )
Anyway , as much as I love my own Vita I've come to accept that some games will be 3DS only. Soul hackers and devil survivor we're pretty good on the 3DS.
As good as the Vita is there is no real installbase in the west.
I do own a vita, but when you go to the local stores there's only a small section reserved for vita games. Advertisement? hardly anything for the Vita. ( although I did see an invizimals ad on tv recently )
Anyway, Atlus has been publishing on the 3DS even before the Sega take over, with games as Devil survivor overclocked, Soul hackers, etc.

Right. Maybe in the states it does. In japan the 360 is not even relevant. In Europe I'd say the PS3 games outsell the 360. ( in general, allthough this does not apply to all regions there )
Also worth noting: some may have purchased several versions ( collectors editions ) of the 3ds.
Well, I have a Vita. It might be a better piece of hardware and it does have some great games.( Persona Golden, Muramasa , little kings story, Killzone to name a few, but there are more )

Nahh.. Final Fantasy has not been repetitive. It had fairly open world and moved to linear gameplay. It had story line and well.. Not sure what the whole XIII thing was about, but imo it pretty much sucked.

Nice interview. I prefer PS myself and will most likely skip the XB since my 360 saw very little action. Most of the games I prefer are JP ( Japan titles ) and we all know JP is Sony ( and Nintendo ) minded.
Still, I have to agree with the strengths of the One mentioned here.

There were a hell of a lot of ps2's, so sure there were problems. However, I never had any problems with my ps2 and it still functions properly to this date. It was and is a great piece of hardware.
I really like the PSN plus freebee's and discounts, but this has little to do with the PSN store as is.
The store itself could be made more userfriendly that much is clear.

Well I'm not going to disagree with you, but I do think it is a sad thing for the Vita. It has some great games and the hardware is better than the 3DS.
However, the 3DS has a better game library as it is and like you said with these 3 titles it is only getting better.
