Let me guess, commenters below. "all these games are stupid. same games year after year just updated graphics & roster." Then you'll go on to say you haven't played one in 10 years and that here comes the pain is the best. Followed by responses that, in fact, no mercy is the best.
I'm not trolling here but am I the only one that was totally turned off by the fact there will be a tv show tie in with this game? I'm just very skeptical of any game with live action. Especially if there's a TV show along side it.
I've felt from day one this was just a cash in on skyrim. I'm not saying it will be but that was my feeling when it was announced. I just dont see how this being an MMO can possibly top the solo experience from the actual games.
is this half-life 2!? use the sights!
So lets say I'm like "hey, I made a new soft drink and it's dope, yo." and people are like "does it make you sick?" and I'm like "yeah, but that's the future." and they're like "uh, no thanks." and I'm like "well nevermind, changed the formula." and then Forbes is like "This guy deserves credit for making his drink not suck."
Yeah, no.
Kinect was a fad though... and ms expects the people to buy BACK into that fad all over again. I don't think that's going to work out quite like they hope... just like all the grandparents aren't buying the WiiU. When you target non-gamers, don't expect them to come back around a 2nd time to support you.
This is a game that will be evolving over time. More like a racing MMO than a standalone racing title.
I completely agree... I think both launch lineups look great. My concern is that MS is showing us 80-90% of all their exclusives with not a whole lot left to show, whereas I get the feeling we've only seen the tip of the iceberg with sony's exclusives. If MS proves me wrong then I absolutely welcome it.
In all honesty, my excitement for next-gen has diminished my excitement for GTA V weirdly enough.
Problem is it usually takes new IPs to bring about new experiences.
Yeah... Sony's the bad guy. Shame on anyone supporting them and their shady ways, right? Speaking of shady ways, I assume you think even less of Microsoft, then yes?
Arrogance is my theory. All indications seem to point to them assuming publishers would just automatically flock to their new system, as would all the other non-gamers who bought into the wii fad. Turns out the non-gamers are still non-gamers and once that 'it' factor wore off the Wii, so did their interest. This is just my honest opinion--not hating on Nintendo, I just think they assumed too much.
PS3 type Graphics and Wii U type sales.
I do think the mouse is more accurate. Yet I still prefer controllers in general.
I think Steve Ballmer and Mattrick himself downvoted you. Cause you're exactly right.
I don't think it's because you mentioned forza, it's probably because they've said from day one this isn't simulation. I still don't agree with the downvotes you're getting but that may be where they're coming from.
And how would the xb1 version be running at 60 and ps4 at 30?
http://www.gamechup.com/ps4...
There shouldn't be one, honestly. Sometimes, something is so great and such an amazing experience that you shouldn't tarnish it by trying to milk it. ND is the best and we should look forward to whatever they move on to next.
If that's a new engine then I might suggest they failed.
How is this surprising anyone? Even if a developer were to support wii-u, they'd essentially be making a 360/ps3 version too. Far too much risk and little reward for working on that hardware when next-gen is around the corner, allowing them to take their games to all new heights. And no, adding a screen to your controller on a system on par with 360/ps3 is NOT next-gen.
