WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE NAMED PHIL?
I expect we'll get one but looks like they wanted to wait to show a direct feed video on a later build. 35% complete, while playable, isn't ideal to start showing official gameplay videos just yet.
@Enemy it's a 10 hour game. Other 10 hour games, lets see: Half life, Bioshock, God of War, Uncharted 2 (1 was 7 hours) just off the top of my head.
repetition doesn't necessarily come down to weapon types. If the entire game is just slashing through seemingly infinite amount of zombies, that could get old quickly if there's no real substance to the game.
I just absolutely don't get the appeal of this gameplay. I know it's an early build so there are still things to work out but so far it looks... boring, to be honest.
When I actually look at the lack of BASIC comprehension from these xbox fans it makes TOTAL sense why they're... well, xbox fans. The ignorance in almost all of your comments is simply staggering.

You guys realize that just because they showed a 35% complete demo at e3 doesn't mean they were only 35% complete at that time, right? Good lord
@Muffins1223 You realize this is also a retail game, right? And it will have DLC, of course, but that's been a huge part of both 360 & PS3. To imply what it is you're implying lets me know not to think too much of the fact that you're actually onboard MS's DRM plan.
Good thing for MS they can ride that Windows wave all the way to the bank.
It's the one thing MS does well. Spin things to look good in their favor despite the reality. Why else are they pushing the whole 'power of the cloud'? Because it's a lame excuse as to why the PS4 has more powerful hardware. Everything MS does or says is for the investor's ears.

I disagree with this statement completely. He compares people buying PS2s for DVD which was true. But it's 2013 and there are literally HUNDREDS of ways of consuming media now. We don't need this BS "all-in-one" box (and I'm not specifically talking just about xb1 either) to watch and play everything. The problem with technology in general right now is there's this emphasis on 'do everything do everything-appeal to everyone' and there's no real focus anym...

Forza can be 60fps because it's not open world. When you confine racers to tracks it's easier to pull off 60fps. Look at Forza Horizon... open world and guess what? 30fps.
60fps on an open world racer is very different than, say, a forza or GT game. (note that forza horizon ran at 30fps since it was open world). Theres a LOT more going on and it's not confined to a track. And it's not a matter of power, it's a matter of do you want this open world racer to look jaw dropping at 30fps or do you want it to look really good at 60. Simple as that.

This doesn't surprise me really as the whole preorder culture didn't really catch on until this generation. At the start of this gen, most people waited in line for days. Now people just preorder, show up at midnight and they're good.
