I also agree, Gears is miles better, about 70% of my friends on xbox are playing it. I do enjoy call of duty for a quick pick up and play, Gears is ruining my social life :p horde mode is so addictive and takes hours, but love it. :D
That might be true, but it is too much money for them not to release another game in the future, I don't think it will be just DLC.
Same here but I'm afraid that we might not find that out until they release another game, I'm thinking they are probably working on a prequel to be released with next gen console. Just my thought tho.
I don't really play campaigns anymore, mainly multiplayer, but I am glad I bought the first one, great game! Can't for the sequel!!!
Completely agree. This game is superb! That's all I've been playing since Tuesday, can't stop playing horde mode is just crazy addictive! I've bought the epic edition, first time I purchased a special edition of any game and gotta tell you it is worth every penny! :D

Good thing you haven't started yet, I played the whole campaign in co op first, and glad I did because horde is so much better than the last one, you can build barriers, buy weapons, ammo, you can even buy back in if you die, as long as you have enough cash, they really stepped up their game on this one!
Even the A. I. got better, those suckers are a lot more aggressive than ever. And I'm loving the boss wave, this game is EPIC :) I can't stop playing this game, went late to a party on Friday, late for work on Saturday, damn you Epic lol :)
Agreed! Amazing game! The only thing that needs work is that when playing horde mode every time the host quits it is taking everyone that doesn't back to wave one, very frustrating when spend hours getting to wave 47 and the host quits and you have to restored from beginning.
This game is freaking awesome! The new horde mode is lots of fun and VERY addictive!!!! :)

I played all the way to wave 47 and the host had to leave and for some reason the system didn't reselect a new host :( Seems like that's the only thing I see that they need to work on. This game is worth every penny tho! :D

@SH0CKW4VE Same here, I own the phat PS3 80gb, x360 slim 250gb, a very powerful computer rig and I enjoy all systems. I used to have the wii, but didn't play much so I sold it to a friend of mine.
Why argue about the consoles? They all offer great experiences! Gears of War is one of my favorite franchises this generation. Tomorrow baby GEARS 3 :D

That's why I played the campaign first, I got the epic edition on day one, and this game is keeping me up late every night, love horde mode, I just can't stop playing it, I've been late for parties, work, not enough sleep :P Money well spent :D
