I'm glad that the price is finally coming down. I got an EVGA GTX 570 back in november of 2010 for U$360 and I love it, I'm using with an i7 960 and 12GB of DDR3, I game at 1080p (55" LED) and it runs everything at max without a problem! So I have no need in upgrading for a while, who ever gets the GTX 580 will be happy for a long time!
To me nowadays, 2GB should be the minimum! Devs already do an amazing job with just 512MB, imagine the possibilities :)
The thing is that in 3rd world countries current gen consoles cost a LOT of money, I'm from Brazil, but came to USA in 2000, and when I go back home on vacation I still see consoles like supernes, negadrive been sold! PS2 is now affordable to a lot of people in those countries. Not long ago x360 and/or PS3 would cost you over $1500 dollars over there!
932 here! Just an awesome case!
For me started great! Just won a sweet price from Intel Retail Edge, “DECEMBER ROCKSTAR & ROCK LEGEND PROMOTION”! (1) Acer HS244HQ bmii 24” class Widescreen 3D LED Monitor, Acer 3D Vision Stereo Glasses Kit and EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB 1GB GDDR5 PCIe.
Should be receiving it within a few weeks :D
actually it is somewhat impressive, Splashtop is a great app but to play games smoothly is a different story due to some lag, so seems like it works even better with a more powerful hardware.
@Nitrowolf2 I have the PS3 and I am not aware of that feature! I just google it and didn't find anything that says you can without a capture card.
Would you mind explaining and/or providing a link?
Thanks.
Ah I see what you mean now, well I was already aware of those, if I'm not mistaken some of the Halo games has that feature as well!
Capturing video is a system hog, so my thought is for them to have a video capture...
I would like to see them implementing a way for us to record our gameplay, so we could transfer to a computer and edit as we like!
There are a few video capture hardware out there, but would be awesome if comes built in with next gen! Specially nowadays with tons of people using youtube etc!
The BF3 video is the perfect definition of EPIC! :D I was like WTF O.O lol
Yep, everyday of the week is a different deal!
Just bought Pilotwings for my buddy's son! Saved me lot of money :D
Love the pic! Santos F.C. Libertadores Champion 2011 :D
looks great, great job!
lol I just got home from the bar, I was like damn I am really drunk :p
"and nope dont wanna hear put it on max difficulty, the game is meant to be played on normal" WTF??? o.O lol
@grzajabarkus What makes you think that if they announce next year it won't be release until 2013? Xbox 360 was announced May 12, 2005 and and released in North America on November 22, 2005.
I have no idea of when those consoles are coming out, but if it is 100% compatible with xbox 360 and/or PS3 then I'm hoping for next year.
The first xbox games weren't 100% compatible with the 360, mainly because xbox was using NVIDIA GPU, and now Microsoft is...
Exactly! That's what I was trying to say, but some people are just hard headed :p
I have a EVGA GTX 570, and I play on a 55" LED at 1080p, so far my card handles everything at max without breaking a sweat, so unless they make more demanding games I won't have to upgrade for a while :D
that's why I said modified, and I don't understand why people think Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo would pay the same as consumer. They buy in BULK, and get huge discounts! I work retail, and been doing for several years, you have no idea how much discount a store gets by buying in bulk! I work at nfm.com. I bought a tv in July of this year, it was on sale for $1900, I paid less than $1100! My store only charge the employees a few % above cost, lucky me :D
I remember whe...
@kaveti6616 I guess it will depend on the resolution that you are playing on. I've tried the game without the HD texture pack, so I can't tell how impacts the performance.
