Same here! I havent even paid $50 for mine, I got it on sale at newegg for $38, I love xbox live, but $100? hell no. Im glad i've got the PS3 as well and have alternatives! :)

I hear ya! Just like if someone still your T.V. then they couldn't watch it without your face! My notebook has that feature (face recognition), its pretty neat!

I believe everyone should wait until they play the game before talking trash. The dev saying is the definitive racing game is just to get people's attention, and it is working! I've played the demo and it is fun, but I am not impressed, I'm tired of seen the rocky mountain track lol.

Dude you need to chill!!! This is very impressive, not even final yet!!! I first tried at work, where my internet connection do not even get to 2mbps, and it worked! I could tell that it was not a full HD, but the average "joe" wouldn't even notice a difference. I came home and show it to my girlfriend, and at home I have a 7mbps. I asked her does it look good? she says yes, then I said this is full HD, and she had no clue what i was talking about!!! The point is tons of people will...
I hope they do speak Portuguese, but I am sure most part of the game they will be speaking english! I grew up in Brazil (moved to USA at 21) and you dont want to mess around in favelas, I would only go there if I knew people that lived there, and I would make sure i didnt have anything expensive on me, like watches or a lot of cash!!! And looks like the dev want to explore favelas more, even COD MW2 have favela form Rio de Janeiro!!!

well there was a few times where I wasn't able to connect to psn. To say that is always 100% running, is just ignorant!!! Maybe you a lucky one that never had problems connecting every once a week that you play online!!! lol
SORRY mate but the browser in the PS3 is not all that, I've tried today for the first time and it sucked!!! I've owned the PS3 for 2 months now, and just today I felt trying the browser out, it was too slow, just didn't work right, so then I went to my computer and the internet is working fine, I got a 7 mbps. I'll try again later to see if was just today that it sucked tho!
it would be an add on for movies and not for games! calm down!
