Fix? They have yet to fix Mei's Lunar skin even though they said they already had a fix ready to release along with the next patch, which was like 6 patches ago.
Basing decision purchases off of review scores is silly. Look at PCGamer giving Andromeda a higher score than Nier: Automata. Andromeda had broken animations, bugs galore, poor writing, poor voice acting, and fun game play. Nier had a bug that occasionally caused the mouse cursor to appear at the center of the screen, cut-scenes are locked at 30fps, and a bug causing the game to crash on AMD cards (I know many people with AMD cards who had no issues, so it's a rare bug).... It makes no se...
Cool, good for you
.
@wonderfulmonkey, dude, you really need to stop with the whole piracy thing. Please give me stats that 100% of people who use emulators pirate the games. Nintendo made a great game, I'll gladly pick it up from the store. But I'm going to use the emulator rather than shell out $300 for a plastic brick.
Yeah, $300+ for a single game is TOTALLY worth it. No thanks. I'll grab the game from local store and use the emulator.
Hit the nail on the head. For the past 3 generations (Wii, U, and Switch) only 3 games have garnered my interest. I'm sorry but buying the games, then paying double that amount on the required console just isn't worth it. If they were on PC or even a different console, I would buy them without hesitation. Otherwise I'm stuck not being able to enjoy Zelda because it's 85% of the appeal of a Nintendo console, for me.
Terrible article with zero validity. The author makes really poor comparisons that frankly don't even make sense, and they don't disclose where they received the information either. AND they only use 2 new games and 2 old games for comparison. Move along people, nothing worth your time here.
Yes, being able to access the game a week early is definitely the sole reason people are talking about a game's poor animations. Seriously how do people come up with such flawed logic and actually believe it? And it's not just the animations but the god awful writing and voice acting. Sorry, my face is tired.
Yeah, I don't know why the guy didn't want the game ruined for him or story being spoiled before he got to play it. He definitely lives under a rock...
But F**k piracy at what cost to the consumer? This sounds like a rushed implementation and look what Denuvo did to Forza: Horizon 3 and pegging CPUs because it was trying to decrypt on a single core.
@uth11, what they advertised that wasn't in the game that hyped me up was stuff like race wars and giant space battles (not just a few static freighters around each space station). The ability to choose to support a specific race in the war. It wasn't the tiny little features like sandworms that dissapointed me, it was the larger grand scheme mechanics that aren't even hinted at in the current state.
People are probably shitting on Ubi because the For Honor servers have gone down like 6 times since launch. They were down for the entirety of its second weekend.
aaaaand here is the butt hurt user who didn't even read the review to know their reasoning behind the low score. Swooping in the trash the review to make themselves feel better.
Yeah, it's an abysmally shallow game. It's a great quality console RTS, don't get me wrong, but if you are a fan of PC RTS games then this isn't worth looking at.
It also implies it's a better game than it actually is.
I don't think @morganfell or @1nsomniac realize that For Honor has had multiple closed alphas and a closed beta. The open beta was, like every other open "beta" right before release, a stress test. You seem so quick to hate without understanding/knowing what you are talking about.
The closed beta, just 2 weeks before the open beta, was complete garbage and I'm not sure if they ever even got 4v4 working by the end of it because I deleted the game. They have had networking/matchmaking issues since the very first alpha.
Fully optimized? It's over 3 years old and I cannot run max settings and get a solid 60fps on a GTX 970. And even on an SSD the loading screens are GARBAGE!!!
Correct, but given how expensive gaming monitors are it's good to future proof. We are starting to get 4k60 [gaming] monitors and even 4k144 but the prices for 2k haven't budged :(
