It's a very simple logic question: If something is selling so well and profitable, even if it is approaching its targeted lifespan, why would they suddenly stop supporting it?
Valve is known for their vague (but funny) release dates. They say stuff like: "It will come out soon/It will come out when it's ready/finished" without ever sticking to a solid date.
I'm not worried because when they do finish working on something, it turns out to always be fantastic and worth the wait.
Not if they keep on taking away features that make it feel more like an RPG game instead of an action driven story; all for the sake of making it more accessible and easier for new people.
I was aware that the Vita would interact with the PS3 locally, but does anyone else think that the point about interaction over the internet (Other than cross play or transfarring game saves) that there could be more about this...like sending instructions to your PS3 at home to do stuff like "Battlefield 3 demo just got released on the PSN. Download it NOW!" and the PS3 would respond back with "Okay! Take it easy!" then actually download stuff.
"The more the merrier for me(don't take it in the literal sense!);) "
Then what exactly do you want people to take it as other than literally?
Everyone would prefer to have all games content on fewer discs; even better when it's just one disc- it's very convenient for the user and it's also much better in terms of cost-wise for the publishers as they don't have to pay for the extra costs of discs.
I don't see a problem with this. Single player campaign on one disc, multiplayer on the other disc. It's not like half of each would be on the other disc.
Though I understand why people hate having multiple discs, but it's nothing too hard that can't make you get up and change the disc...it's not like your life depends on it. During some situations; yes it can be a problem. I have a buddy whose Disc 2 of 3 of Final Fantasy 13 got badly scratched (nobody to...
At this point, the word nice has no meaning to me...it is as dry as the desert sand.
@FalseAgngel0
Thanks for that interesting piece of information...I actually wasn't aware of that!
Well, the new matte finish instead of glossy doesn't look as shiny, but you can be sure it won't be a fingerprint magnet. Ever tried to clean dust off some glossy shiny electronic that's plugged into the wall with a tissue? The end result is it gets dirtier...it's unbelievable.
Microsoft will respond to Sony's price cut...in their own way. We just have to wait and see.
The comment was reserved for those future guys who complain and say stuff like "Eh...another mandatory PS3 install...Sigh". This was just to show them that they could be doing something else while it installs and that this is also nothing to complain about. (Believe me there are people here on N4G who will!).
I want to watch "Revenge of the Jedi"...sounds like an interesting movie.
Nah, just a statue of his mom.
3GB? Not a problem. Got a 500 GB HDD inside that has about 300 GB free space. I'll make a sandwich and get some snacks while the game installs.
Just another typical MW3 fanboy...the worst kind - the type that knows the competition is much better than what they support, but STILL refuse to acknowledge that fact.
Yeah, but it has splitscreen- something some people would really love to have in a co-op game.
Makes me wonder why Microsoft keeps on upgrading/improving and revamping the dashboard while Sony doesn't do anything to their XMB...Don't get me wrong, the XMB is fantastic, but it's still the same as it was when it launched. It hasn't changed.
Hate? I have been in love with this device since its announcement. Do you know the anticipation level I have for this device??? It's over 9000!
I don't think that there will be a price cut announced tomorrow. Microsoft's Xbox 360 has been selling very well. My guess is they are going to wait and see if the PS3's price cut has any impact on market sales. THEN they'll respond accordingly, likely with a price cut of their own.
LET THE BLOODBATHS BEGIN!
Microsoft does allow free content to reach the Xbox 360...the mystery here is "how much" of this content will they continue to allow for "how long".

They are notorious for restricting how much content update/patches are delivered to games on the Xbox. This is why Team Fortress 2 has been supported so well on the PC with hundreds of updates but the 360 version has only received 4.
