Besides, Kaz already said that just because a competitor happens to be in the market and lower their price doesn't mean that Sony should be backed/forced into a corner. They are offering so much in that little device at such a fantastic price. I don't think that going lower would be a good idea revenue-wise on Sony's end.

Also the fact that Call of Duty is worried about a game such as FarmVille means that Call of Duty is truly an arcade game for casuals.

Oh for god's sake drop the L4D series argument. You seem to forget that those with only a PS3 CAN PLAY L4D on the PC!!
Halo is worth it. Absolutely. The same with Gears of War. Fable has been going downhill and the latest on-rails stuff...that's not gonna cut it. Then there's Forza, also worth getting...the road of exclusives ends there.
360 fanboys for some weird reason, tend to forget that these multiplatform games they constantly go out and buy are ALSO AVAILABLE on the PS3!! For example, homefront. So many Xbox 360 fanboys were being ignorant sheep and constantly thought that Homefront is exclusively available on the 360.
720 looks better than 1080i but NOT THE SAME as 1080p!
You might find it to be the same probably because the source picture is 720p and it doesn't get up-scaled/converted (to 1080p) even if you set your monitor/tv to 1080p.
Other than that, no way is 720p the same as or similar to 1080p!!

Unfortunately yes. Using this method you could download stuff purchased from the store and put it on your computer. I'm currently investigating if this would actually work.
My PC is hardwired into my router, unlike the PS3 that is doing it over wifi. If I use my PC, downloading stuff goes at about 2.8MB/S as opposed to the PS3's 800KB/S download speed.
Definitely gonna try it and see if it is worth it. If the combined time of (downloading onto PC + PS3 fetching from PC + PS3 installing) is greater than (Downloading to PS3 + installing) then this method would be worthless. :(

This is good news. I've got a PS Move, played around with it but just couldn't jump into the whole motion controls movement because I didn't find the games entertaining (my opinion).
Hopefully this will get me a chance to use the PlayStation Move more often.

On the same topic shit seems to be falling at Nintendo Land lately. The revenue losses, unsatisfying 3DS sales, it looks like these guys aren't catching a break with the 3DS at all.

It kinda sucks because I like looking at LED lights to figure out shit like if there is already a disc in the drive, finding the ps3 turn on button would be a nightmare in darkness if it weren't for the LEDs, plus it looks cool when I turn on my slim and white lights just light up at the same time. oh well. =(
