Agreed - you parachute down on the map. Some would parachute directly on top of tanks. Recons would parachute on the far right side of the mountain so that they can snipe away.

I enjoyed seeing noobs parachuting down while spamming the jump button - accidentally detaching the parachute ending in an epic fail death. :-)

Right, and typing all that + clicking on "Add Comment" took a lot less effort /s

Both consoles are powerful (yes, I'm including the PS3 as well).

People love to think that since their inside designs are different, then it must mean that they are not on comparable on a similar level of processing power. It all comes down to the developers, how well they can know and take advantage of each console.

We all know the PS3 gave headaches to developers because of its lack of ease in development, which in turn led to crappy ports; leading to p...

His logic is right..on the count that the beta would turn out bad, giving people an easy decision not to buy the game.

On the other hand, the beta is an easy way to increase their fanbase for the game to newcomers.

Aww...I should've read your comments before I watched the entire video...unfortunately the human brain has no undo button.

Edit: I'm the silly one. The beginning of the video clearly warns about spoilers.

Damn IGN, either show a full PS3vsXbox360vsPC or just change the title to Xbox360vsPC.

$127 - that's too pricy, considering you can get hundreds, if not hundreds of thousands of K/M combo for less than that.

Agreed. Xbox sales this gen and these past few years, have been nothing short of fantastic for Microsoft in the North American region. I say congrats to them and keep it up!

I've said this before - this online implementation is getting OUT OF CONTROL.

This is ridiculous! Next thing you know we'll have single player sections cut out for us just because you bought a used game...oh wait, Rage is already doing that!

Guys living in Europe right now...very lucky.

You're definitely not the only one!

Opening a game case and seeing a thick manual booklet tucked neatly into its side sitting right next to the disc itself has always had a special meaning. To me it means that there is some sort of completion in the product you hold in the hands..wholeness I would say.

@Bladesfist

I just looked into that and looks like you just answered my question. Indeed, according to ND, they use a combination of BluRay, SPEs and HDD to do some post-processing work in the background, storing it on the HDD temporarily.

@a_squirrel

I get what you mean, but here's what I'm trying to explain: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

According to your statement, the game loads during any sort of cut-scene. So how did it skip from the snow directly to the sewers ready to play ? And there's no editing in the video - the game plays exactly like that!

Surely that is some pretty fast loadin...

@NAGNEWS - Agreed

You can look forward to a HD remake in 2012.

True, but there's something I don't understand.

Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2 has zero loading times (once you begin the gameplay). It only has one loading screen (Menu to gameplay).

I mean, if a cutscene starts, you can immediately skip it and instantly jump to the gameplay at the next level - without any loading screen. Surely they must be streaming the game from the disc, as it has zero installs on the HDD?? So how the hell do they do it??

I'd expect the title to read "Why the Xbox 360 Will Rule Your Living Room" seeming as it's coming from planetxbox360.com

"Ahn also went on to stress the diversity of game types that utilize PlayStation Move, referencing core games such as Killzone 3, while also highlighting more casual types of games such as LittleBigPlanet 2, and Eyepet."

That pretty much says it all. Sony shines when it comes to diversity...they have game catering for both casuals and hardcore - best of all, the Move is implemented in both seamlessly.

Yes it was.

This was one of the things I feared getting a Vita. It would probably come to Rogers (Canada) and Rogers is too expensive...their best plan STILL has data caps. Unbelievable.

I'd say Wifi version for me. If I need to play elsewhere, I'll tether it to my phone wirelessly.
