I agree. Currently Kellee Santiago and her game company (thatgamecompany) which made Journey, Flower, flOw have people who make unique games. And I have to say that I enjoyed every single game...so soothing and relaxing!

You need to consider that this is a game running on hardware more than 5 years old. I've played the PS3 version and I can say they honestly did a very good job.
I know that the PC version blows the console versions out of the water in terms of graphics, but like I said, they did a pretty good job and I enjoyed playing through the campaign on my PS3.
That's what people are looking for - to enjoy the game, and I bet you they will, without throwing tant...

I recently completed the game and I can say, it's actually pretty awesome. Worth a go, and I also like the inclusion of pretty good trophies. Looking into getting a platinum. Overall, awesome game.
I shot a person who was about 300M away and the trophy "Long Distance Relationship" popped up. XD
I don't like this online pass thing that devs are beginning to get obsessed with. I get that they need to make money off used games, but please, why shove it down my throat? It is also kind of unfair to the gamer as an end user of the product.
If a brand new game costs $59 and the pass is free, isn't it unfair if you buy it used/preowned after a couple of days for $49 and still be forced to pay for the $10 for an online pass?? It's gotten so bad that everyone want...
Have you ever tried doing a fan test for your PS3? I believe it works on all slims as well (I recently tried it the other morning and it works).

Good for you. It depends on the user experience that one gets, but it looks like the PS3 is a more reliable hardware than the Xbox 360.
In my experience, my PS3 has frozen, crashed, suddenly restarted and encountered data corruption errors more times than I can count. I'm on my second PS3 now and it works perfectly fine. I'm beginning to think maybe it was the PS3.
On the other hand my Xbox 360 (bough Jan 2008) has been absolutely flawless. Not a sin...
I just hope he backed up his PS3 stuff somewhere (external HDD or to the cloud (PS+)). Last thing you'd want is to lose so much progress in those game saves. Happened to me (Couldn't copy nor back up Dragon Age and Demon's Souls savefiles). PS3 died and all those hours of frustration, hard work and so much progress went down the gutter just like that.
I remember seeing this game this past summer being hyped sooo much as the future of FPSs, thousands of custom character creations, being published by Bethesda...What the hell happened???

I don't find hip firing it too powerful in Uncharted. It can however take you by surprise. You might run towards a corner and meet a guy carrying a shotgun. They might be better than you, so obviously they'll blow you up. You might complain, but that's how the game is designed.

True...but every time they fail to undetstand that $299.99 is not the same as 299.99 euros or pounds. Plug in Microsoft's (really unnecessary) point system, and stuff ends up costing more than it should.
You'd be surprised. I actually saw it yesterday while I was browsing the PS Store. It's the same price, and people already rated it (meaning they already purchased it).
If I were someone looking for something to buy, my opinion is spend money on the single player campaign of Crysis - much better game. Elite is just too overpriced, and if you are on Xbox live, the total will cost you even more.
