So has the 360 ... but now its turning a profit. Sony will get there as well. Most systems lose tons of money on hardware from the beginning. For PS3, they did lose a good chunk of change but still keep committed to the 10 year plan.

I suggest this dude play the game in 720p and have his eyes checked. I've read Eurogamer and IGN enough to put money on this purchase since I haven't played Bioshock (outside of the PS3 and 360 demos).

nor should it to some extent. You are comparing apples to oranges. RPGs for the most part are linear. There are no dynamics to an RPG (as of yet). You beat it ... its done. With FPS at least you have multiplayer.
It seems like RPGs this gen have not changed at its core! I do have some hope in White Knight. There needs to be progression with the genre. ... give me something to get excited about!
