I will listen to what Square has to say when titles like Star Ocean and Infinite Undiscovery are on the PS3 (sucky or not). If multiplatform is their vision for this generation, they haven't been practicing what they preach.

approving because I want the truth ... I want to know which version I will buy in the next 2 weeks. If the freezing issues get fixed for the PS3 as well as some of the one-off glitches ... will it be the version to get?

I want to elaborate as well. Gears 2 looks phenomenal. Graphically looks better than Resistance 2 (overall package). My problem is your narrow minded conclusion that one looks much worse. It does not look much worse. The single player campaign as well as the overall graphics were not pushed in favor of a robust multiplayer focus. Watch any Dev VideoDoc on Resistance 2 to see that focus loud and clear!

Not sure if the 8 player co-op could be done or the 60 player MP battles (organized chaos). Maybe the Leviathan could be done on the 360 ... but you'll only see Marcus on the screen.
yes ... and next year you will sell your 360 for $100.00 to get a PS3 back. Do yourself a favor. Work a little overtime. Sell a little bit more lemonade ... and have both consoles. You won't sound as bipolar.
Yup .... bottom line is that Bethesda needs to patch PC, 360, and PS3 versions. In the end, the gamer suffers. Fallout 3 was NOT ready.

Sorry cuppa but absolutely not! I have spent the last hour playing through both demos at nausea. I can tell you with absolution conviction that both are essentially the same. DICE did a remarkable job with this game. I can point out the differences.
Played the PS3 on my 42 inch PLASMA @ 720p
Played the 360 on my 27 inch LCD @ 720p
PS3 version was ultra sharp but not eye bleeding. There were some jaggies but both versions had them. I liked the feel of the ...

Next Gen sales are not healthy in Japan. It seems our Japanese folks are content for the time being with the Wii, PSP, and DS.
360 beating the PS3 is the smaller picture. At this point ... they are less than 10,000 units sold for both machines. Need a healthy injection of quality software to boost sales!

It looks good. As long as its easy for me to navigate to what I want to do, I think it'll be a great update. I hope there is a list option as well ... imagine trying to go through 50 game slides to find the 51st game on your list to view your achievements?
I guess we should be expecting ... R2 is laggy, servers crash, and game sucks articles as well ....
