Im a solo player and the thing that always bothered me about destiny was the lack of matchmaking and the lack of an actual social system to find groups to play with in game.
I spend most of my time in crucible activities though. Gameplay wise, I loved how open it was to be competitive in destiny 1. In d2 it feels like you have to always play the meta.

As much crap GameStop has done to gamers, I didn't want to see them close up shop. Too many memories with them.
It's a knockoff anthem / division / destiny game.
I don't mind looter -shooter or in this case slasher, but I worry about the slashing part. There's only so many sword combos you'll see before it gets repetitive.
Whereas in the other games I mentioned you have skills, other weapon types, powers etc.

I was going to type a list of games that will be played on series x at launch, cross platform, cross gen, etc but I don't have the time to compile all that greatness.

payday is a great series but..
-bullet sponge enemies are terrible
-console support is even worse
-it's a moneypit
4k still isn't the standard. But to have native 4k is always a +1. Next gen is about framerates more than anything.
If one console can do native or higher res + raytracing + frames, it will win every heads up comparison.
But compromises will be made on both consoles, we're already seeing it with the ps5 as they can't maintain a native 4k res on top of high framerates.
The video was about the expansion card being hot but people clearly don't understand that SSD's run hot.

It's simple really, make a shooting based build. Nobody else will be able to shoot consistently.
Exclusives don't matter with the path gaming is taking, open ended services. But with MS making such a huge acquisition to further boost their services between 3 platforms, they have so much room to do whatever they want now.

Playstation is just now getting native 4K capabilities. I expected more from the ps5 but their first show, showed everything at 30fps.
They heard the backlash that players want more frames instead of higher res and now what are we seeing? Performance modes to offer that smooth framerate.
So I'm guessing the native modes on their games will be 4K/30.
The power advantage on the series x will be really telling in multiplat games.
