That's called Microsoft rewards. You actually accrue points for everything in the MS ecosystem down to searching on bing. Especially buying games and movies etc...

Japan is Sony's homecourt and they can't sell a game decently there? Granted maybe it's due to the lack of hardware and appeal of the game itself. Could be the price too, who knows. Even more of a reason to have a gamepass model. Cheaper entry point, easier access, more players

All I got was dark souls from this game. Why go down such a similar path as your main game? It visually looked decent but overall it's just more of the same FROM WHAT WAS SHOWN. Meh
Every dev wants to make money so why limit your game to current gen? I understand, especially since the new consoles are still hard to get.

@pricey, who care about market lead aside from people actually getting paid from these companies? Xbox has the better hardware that can push out more power so in turn higher resolutions and framerates. And it seems to be effortless now.

None. They all drop the ball and should be called out when it happens instead of having blind loyalty.

Visually the game was a masterpiece. I don't think anyone could seriously deny that.
MS agrees, now story wise etc, that's where the wars break out
To the author ...you're not who gamepass is for so maybe that's why it doesn't hold value for you. I, like you, buy games at launch. I even bought the show and outriders for the reward points although they were ok gamepass day 1.
Gamepass for people like us is an additional bonus to being on the Xbox ecosystem. There's games there that I can check out that I wouldn't have bought.

Shortly before release, not confident I see
After playing a few hours, it's really not a good baseball game. I'm playing RTTS and there's QuickTime events for fielding? Fielding needs to be snappy.
Then you can't aim your pitches. The old 2k baseball games had the best pitching system.
The graphics are meh, sound design mediocre. The play by play sounds so stale.

Hopefully visibility will be better. The map size already makes the players seem like ants at a distance and now they're adding more players to the mix. Also go back to the old spotting mechanic. So far I like what I've seen, haven't enjoyed a battlefield multiplayer since hardline.
