It’s been ahead of schedule but that’s 2 games shown running on pc, well 1 and a trailer out of the 22 games they showed.
The full court press is on for both machines with these trailers that show little to no gameplay. These last couple events left a lot to be desired but painted a picture of what to expect so it’s cool.
I played crossfire open beta on Xbox one x, the game looked good but the old style gameplay was meh.
I’m so use to the fluidity and modern shooters like rainbow that this game felt so off. Stuck in the early days of fps.

As evidenced by gamepass, putting their games on their service wouldn’t stop sells. And also would put the game in more players hands.

They had about the same amount of gameplay as Sony but only Xbox is catching heat for it.

Great article with valid points. If you’re on a platform then you know what it’s about. That’s their bread and butter, like big triple a 3rd person action games for Sony, or multiplayer game anywhere with Xbox.
They stopped competing with each other a while ago and next gen makes it pretty clear.

I’m fairly certain the standard mode will be native 4K / 30 FPS and this performance mode some 4K upscaling just to say it’s 4K.

If a game comes in a series the gameplay is usually pretty similar throughout. It’s only a far cry problem though? 😂

Reflections add to the realism of a game. So while I agree that there are more important features for next gen, mainly making 60fps the standard on both platforms, both companies see raytracing as an integral part of the next wave of gaming capabilities.

I’d say hellblade but it was in engine, and I’m more impressed by gameplay over in engine footage or trailers.
The biggest draw of next gen is supposed to be how the ssds will improve loading. I always thought that wasn’t really an issue...
