The value of the console isn't in doubt. Gamers have shown to want more power and the best console version of a multiplat...hands down that will be the 1x. But where it will continue to fall short is on the exclusive side.
I laughed so hard when he said that lol. Granted what people like is subjective to their own tastes, but give me any Sony exclusive over anything MS has offered in ages. If it was just about exclusives I'd game on playstation over xbox easily. But I prefer the network and community of Xbox. My friends are there, and now third party games should perform better on xbox one x. But exclusives? Lol this guy is hilarious...
I remember the e3 trailer, it said CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE. At that same e3 showing MS had CONSOLE LAUNCH EXCLUSIVE. Now at gamescon, the actual talk sounds like it's indeed a CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE.
They need to come out and be super clear about it one way or the other.
it was so cringeworthy seeing them dance around the subject of exclusives. I'm all for a diverse lineup of games, but they all seem to be casual family games these days from MS. I'm not saying they have to do what Sony does and release 3rd person action narrative games all the time, but at least it would be something new from MS. They really mentioned a remastered Recore like three times....RECORE....smh

I'm disgusted at how they damaged this franchise. Please sell it to another dev that understands mass effect and the fanbase. All we want is great story, exploration, and a good time. Andromeda was a solid game and the subsequent patches fixed every technical issue people had a problem with. This is devastating to the series.
If they'd invest in their first party games like they do xbox live and hardware rather than rehashing the same worn-out titles, they might get back into the swing of things. I'm thankful for the Xbox 1X, and for a great community on XBL, but it's time to start knocking out some killer games. Stop relying on Gears, Halo, Fable, and Crackdown. They've all worn out their name already in my opinion. Sure third party games will perform and look better on x1x, but is that the reason...

as an xbox gamer, I couldn't agree more. They need to step it up because they've been lacking on good games for a while now.
Don't know, I stopped trying to play it because it kept crashing. I hope they fixed it by now since they're about to push this game

it's already compromised, but i'll give it a pass simply because it's a new platform and from what devs have been saying, I expect better results soon after launch. So no biggie.
I expect more feature updates on both platforms to be exclusive to the pro and x, kind of forcing the hand of the consumer to grab those consoles.
The only downside to ea access is that there's no point on buying ea games at launch, just wait 6 months to a year and they'll be in the vault. Best 30 bucks spent.
You can say that about most triple a games, especially yearly games. If you're looking for innovation, you have the wrong hobby my friend.
