Too much on the wallet for the crappy games they offered. I didn't see anything that said I need to have XOX Day 1. But I'll get it day 1 because games will play better, look better, and load faster day 1. But I saw no must have ip yet again from MS. As a loyal consumer of the Xbox brand, I'm disappointed big time.
So much build up for nothing.
Nope it's a flat out exclusive. Google it, there's an article on it
Nope it's an Xbox one exclusive
The price doesn't bother me, it's the games. Too many kid / casual games shown again. However, the visuals are insane on the X. Devs would be insane not to push their multiplats to the max on Xbox one x
10/10 for the console
6/10 for the games
Forza looks insane
AC Origins looks massive
Anthem is interesting
Player unknown battlegrounds exclusive..great cant wait.
But overall the focus on indie killed this conference in a bad way. No real killer ip except the ones I named.
Multiplats should look and perform way better than the competition though so I guess that's a start
Why is $500 too high to pay, that extra 100 bucks can come from someone selling their existing Xbox one s
They've released a bunch of indies over the last couple days. Like I said they have games just not the best quality of games.
why do people keep making it seem like MS has no games? They might not have top tier games like Sony does at the moment but they've been releasing games. They have the games not the quality. Hopefully the quality picks up now with Scorpio.
That was a dumb idea for the thieves. CD Projekt Red creates top notch games, sure the documents may spoil some things but it won't kill the project nor the hype around it. CDPR have nothing to worry about here so why pay?
They polled a handful of gamers, not everyone. MS would have those statistics. Phil said 1 or 2 BC games are on top of their daily most played list. DAILY..so BC seems to more relevant than what those articles reported.
Price won't matter to those that want it. Maybe to people on the fence. But 400-500 it don't matter to me, I'm getting it.
Also the colors pop on a Ferris wheel, maybe it's them saying true 4k. Either way, brace yourselves Sunday is coming.
BC is an added feature that's appreciated not one that's going to make you want to buy a console.
Back to playing AC3 via BC on Xbox 1
I can't even remember the last physical copy of a game I've bought. Pricing needs to be adjusted for digital games but I won't hold my breath.
There's no need for manufacturing costs with digital games.
Can't see Sony undercutting themselves with another console iteration already. They went big with the PRO and a year or 2 later, they're going to make it obsolete?
Why can't a game like this run at 60fps on the pro?
Of course they will have exclusives like hey do every year. I just want them to be good and on the same level as Sony or better. Not Ori and he blind forest compared to The Ladt of Us 2...nothing against hose kind of games but I want something more substantial.
Injustice 2, tekkem 7 online is terrible. Waited 10 minutes to find a match. Visuals it looks bulky and even plays clunky at times. Tekken is stuck in the past. It's a decent game but with definite flaws.
Just announce some top tier exclusives. Not timed exclusives, actual exclusives.
Scorpio is going to sel itself to those that want it. We've already made up our minds no matter the price tag 399-499. So there's no need to spend much time on that unless you break the standard and say all multiplat games will have the benefit of 4K 60 if the devs want that. Rather than there needing to be symmetry.
I think that alone would win e3 and make Scorpio a...
Disappointing, yes but weak? No. They answered a lot of the criticisms launched at them. It was games heavy, a beautiful true 4k console, and a handful of console / console + win 10 exclusives.
I personally don't like their games lineup presented but they hit it out the park when it comes to addressing what people kill them about.
Say what you want about the games but the console itself is a true powerhouse unlike a lot of naysayers hopes. The tech ...
