Indeed, even I have to admit MS really impressed me. I would have bet anything that the PS3 would win, but oh well. I hate to say it but good job MS.
The bots doesn't understand logic. Just ignore him. He forgets that MW2, arguably the biggest game of the decade (in hype, not quality) released in November. NA (particularly 360 owners) love COD so obviously, MS saw an increase in sales.
LMAO, I hadn't seen this guy in a while but look when he decides to show up. Anyways, PS3 is still leading world wide, so while it did loose here in NA, it's still winning overall. It's only obvious that it'd have a hard time taking on the 360 in it's home territory. Besides, 100k isn't really that much.

It seems NA will not be easily won. While the PS3 definitely has a large lead world wide, NA still continues to choose the 360. PS3 is gonna have a hard time taking over the 360's home territory.
And damn! Look at those HUGE MW2 sales. I have issues with the game, but those numbers are just amazing. Wow. However they were expected.
MW sold 4 million on 360 and 2 million on Ps3. There's TWICE as many 360s in NA than PS3s therefore, the PS3 version did just as good as ...
I went ahead and read the novel since so many of you recommend and I have to say it's pretty damn good. It certainly does add a lot to Halo's lore and expands the story, not to mention it's very well written. With that said, I'm really looking forward to how Bungie translates the story over to the video game. I can just imagine huge epic battles, more Spartans, I mean, it sounds really cool. Can't wait to see the trailer.
Like I've always said. If you want the best quality, most revolutionary video games this gen, you'll need a PS3 (Bioshock, UC2, Demon's Soul, MGS4, LBP, KZ2 etc.)
If next year is the best for the 360, then what does that make the PS3's? This year was VERY strong for PS3, and next year looks to be the same multiplies by 4.
Ps3 will outsell the 360 by a large margin, you can count on that. EA didn't bet on the wrong horse, they will be rewarded in the end.

Play 1-2 exclusives and all the multiplats
If you have a Ps3 you can play
10+ AAA quality exclusives and all the multiplats.

Personally I think that's amazing sales, but to some people that's actually low and a "flop" See how that sort of reasoning is full of fail? Anyways, Forza 3 did good, but it didn't live up to the massive hype Turn 10 tried to build up.
The 360 is a shooter console. If it's not a shooter it doesn't sell.

BC2 is AWESOME. I seriously believe they're going in the right direction and if they fix some of the issues, they'll have a very solid FPS on their hands. I don't know about sales, but BC2 is so far much better than COD in quality.
They know the PS3 is the one and only console that can serve their needs. It's not just a game console, it only does everything.
From what I've read it seems to be more of a single player game with some online elements (though I really couldn't tell you what exactly they are). The games is really long though. At least 60 hrs+. So to answer you're question, it's more of an offline game
