You should really try playing the first one. It's an awesome game and I think you can probably handle it. Definitely worth a try.
Could you please point to one PS3 fan who has ever asked for Gears or Halo? If not, then will you kindly stfu.
How would it make us "cry"?
Unlike you, PS3 fans don't care about sales, we care about a quality game and we don't go hiding under a bridge when our favorite console is outsold. (All the 360 fans disappeared for two months and are now back. Coincidence? I think NOT).
I agree with Eiffel. I didn't like Oblivion at all, but I really enjoyed Fallout 3.
You missed my point. I'm just saying that while Halo Reach will indeed be huge next year, we should just wait. I mean, all of the big three's Heavy hitters are coming out next year (Halo, Mario, and GT). It's gonna be a real interesting year.
And I'm not trying to find any fault in the game or anything. As long as they refine the multiplayer and make a great story, I know what I've said in that past, but I'm serious now.
Good thing I haven't bought this game.
So The wii wins the console showdown and now they're accusing Nintendo of being Lazy??
IGN WTF is wrong with you guys? Seriously. I used to click on any of IGN's articles, but as of lately I don't even give them hits. It's like they WANT to be hated.
CASUALS should not be giving their opinions on consoles (or at least they shouldn't be taken seriously). It's obvious they don't actually know what's going on and just go by whatever they hear from their friends. I truly believe it's this large abound of misconceptions and misinformation that keeps MS on top in NA. I mean there's STILL people that think the PS3 "doesn't have any good games" WTF is up with that?!?
Sorry, but I find it sad that you can actually get the better version on your competitor's Consoles. MS really screwed up with choosing DVD.
Let's not forget this is technically GameTrailers. We all know what THEY'RE gonna hype up.
I don't take the awards seriously. It's just a bunch of hype and utter sh!t. I'll wait for the AIAS to announce their GOTY. The VGAs are good only for new announcements. Other than that the awards themselves are crap and their choices are crap.
While MS certainly has done a better job at Selling consoles, it still has a long way to go before it's considered as big as Sony and Nintendo.
As of this point, the 360 is plagued with hardware issues and overpriced add-ons. MS has sold 32 million consoles meaning they've sold 6 million more than they did last gen, so while good it's still kind of a let down. A
And besides, I still believe the Xbox brand is nowhere near as strong as the Nintendo and PlayStation bra...
Indeed. A number of factors led to the 360 taking the edge this past month (huge banning, MW2, some great deals etc) and apparently there were slight PS3 shortages (though not yet confirmed). Let's see how each console does in December: however, in the end we know the Wii is gonna win by a large margin.
I'll listen to Sony themselves rather than some random analyst. I think we all know just how reliable these guys are. *sigh*
And what's up with all the hate? The 360 won in NPD and all of a sudden it's back to PS3 is doomed! I mean, it still sold 700k+. That's a heck of a lot of consoles, not to mention Europe and Japan. The gaming media is despicable.
UC2 IS the best AAA around. It's the highest rated game this year and I'll take that over huge sales ANY DAY.
UC1 had a weak opening but had long legs. I'm sure UC2 will be the same. Besides, if you're trying to say UC2 had low sales what do you call forza's?
It sold only 150k last month and didn't even chart this month. What do you say about that ey?
Sales may be weak, but I sure as hell am enjoyed the highest rated game of the year. Whether it sold 1 million or 10 million I won't enjoy it any less. That's something you 360 fans should get through your heads.
Poor sales? The game has sold 1.4 million+. How is that poor. Do you realize that 99% of all games ever made never even reach 1 million sold? wth is the problem with you?
Since UC2 has basically destroyed everything this year in terms of quality and overall achievements, the media has to find one way or another to put it down. How do they do it? Well, they ignore the fact that the game has sold 1.5 million+ and state that for some reason that's not good enough (even though ND themselves said they were satisfied).
Does EVERYTHING need multiplayer these days?
