I bought the game for 40 bucks and at that price it is a must buy. I have no regrets and while it does feel kinda like an expansion, I can't complain (since I did get it for 20 bucks off).
I know I've said it before, but I really like the atmosphere of this game. From what I've seen it looks like it's just gonna suck you in and keep you in it's dark world, sitting at the edge of your couch. tbh I'm really excited about it.
It's definitely taking a LOT from GOW, but it's done rather well. I enjoyed the game more than I though and it should be a good way to hold me over till GOWIII arrives and destroys everything. GOW Collection, Dante's Inferno, and then the king itself.
Like I've said before, I doubt a game can actually cause RROD or YLOD or whatever. It's the amount of time you play, not the game itself. If you're playing the game for long periods of time and had the bad luck of not getting a good console then it will obviously suffer from some sort of failure.
This game is gonna have LONG legs just like Nintendo's games. I mean look at Mario kart. It's STILL in the top 10!? WTF!!? That's just impressive.
Ah, I forgot about that. Gonna get the game for Christmas.

You know what would help? If all fanboys just gave up and enjoyed games. I for one will try to stop bashing the 360's games. I'm tired of it.

Yes, all those games you mention may not have sold 2 million day one, but guess what? I and many other PS3 owners have enjoyed them thoroughly and they will NEVER be on the 360. So yea, keep talking about sales while we play actual games.

I agree with you. I went a little too extreme and this has certainly surprised me. I'm tired of constantly bashing the 360 for random reasons. This time, I will try to stop for good.

I played the Dante's Inferno demo and I've gotta say it takes a little too much from GOW, but I did enjoy it. Of course, it's no match to the king GOTY 2010 GOWIII; however, I just wanted to say I was wrong about Dante's Inferno. It's a pretty good game from what I saw.
MS, I congratulate you for your very surprising victory. While I still despise some of the things you have done, it is clear that I underestimated the power of the Xbox brand in it's own home territory. Great job to both Sony and MS, and of course the overall victor Nintendo.
Oh and one more thing, this NA sales so Worldwide is a completely different Story. I'm sure PS3 is dominating overall (second to the Wii).
Basing the quality of a game based on sales is just lame. Going by this, Wii Fit has been GOTY for three years running.
There's 2 or 3 times as many 360s in NA than PS3s. DO THE DAMN MATH! Of course MW2 would sell a lot more on the 360.
