Some sequels were excellent (UC2 and AC2), but some weren't (MW2 and Halo ODST)
What a bunch of BS. The PS1 and PS2 were HUGE successes and the pS3 is on it's way to continue the success. If anyone is gonna leave it's MS. Nintendo lost two generations and came back. Sony can do the same and much more. Again, what a BS article.
Yep, it's kinda weird that PC gamers get the Cheaper AND better version. The results of not having to pay MS royalties. Anyways, I ain't gonna complain about it :)
Damn! That's bigger than a DVD game. It'd take long to download but it should be worth it.
Hopefully some PS3 exclusives.
Just bought it for 40 bucks.
Come on man, it's a good article. It uses FACTS and LOGIC.
blade as in bladestar? I knew this guy's comments sounded familiar and whiny. Yep, definitely Bladestar.
It's now the price of a 10 year old console. Congrats MS, you FAIL.
Yes, it is now a FACT that MS does NOT get royalties from PC games. Therefore, the bots' whole argument is void. "Microsoft" exclusive is not true. What have you to say about this bots? haha
There's no such thing as "Microsoft" or "console" exclusive. That was a term made up by the bots to feel better. Truth is the 360 is going downhill and it ain't gonna stop.
Indeed. MS have very little exclusive. When you hear about a 360 exclusive you thing:
1. It's probably Multiplat and also on PC
and
2. It'll come to Ps3 eventually.
The "Only on Xbox 360" sign has lost ALL meaning. The 360 has lost more exclusivity this gen than Sony and people seem to forget that. When you say Ps3 exclusive, YOU KNOW it's can be played ONLY on PS3. See the difference?
If the 360 could run those games, we would already have seen a KZ level game on the 360 (afterall, the 360 IS one year older right?)
As long as it's PS3 exclusive. If it's not, I'll just stick with the original.
This just goes to show that the gap is not as big as people believed. Like I said before, the gap will be closed by September 2010.
Sales do indeed matter to the developer and as can be seen almost all PS3 exclusives are incredibly successful given that they get sequels; however, to the average gamer how do sales make a game better? Do they magically make you enjoy a game more? As long as a game sells well enough for a sequel (Like most Ps3 exclusives) that's good enough. A game doesn't need to sell millions to be good. Got it?
Big whoop indeed. These games are bound to be one of the best this generation along with MGS4, LBP, KZ2, UC2, Heavy Rain, GT5, GOWIII and more and the ONLY WAY TO PLAY THESE GAMES is with a PS3.
Why did the mods delete my post? I just said I'm glad I didn't buy the 360 since I was pretty much sure it'd come to PS3 (like many other 360 "exclusives."). How is that bad?
