ND themselves stated that they wanted at least 2.5 million world wide lifetime sales. The game is nearing 2 million. They're MORE than satisfied.

The media should not start doing this types of comparisons. It'll just make expectations for Halo Reach seem to high. I myself want Halo Reach to be KZ2 graphics, but I know that won't happen. It'll still look great and it'll be actual HD this time around, so that's pretty good.
Reach is a prequel to Halo Combat Evolved. It's probably gonna deal with the battle of reach depicted in the novel.

I'd say Halo Reach and Alan Wake are tied for my most anticipated 360 game of the year.

Killzone 2 looked unbelievable. I can't imagine how KZ3 will look O_O
What to expect? I'm hoping we'll seem some big battles during campaign and a more refined multiplayer. Come on Bungie, you can do it!

MW was the peak of COD as a series. It's sad to see such a great series fall.
The trailer looked really nice. KZ2 did meet expectations set by it's trailer so let's see how Reach does.

Indeed it did, but I think people were disappointed mostly becuase of all the hype around it. They made it look like this huge unveiling when in fact it was only a small teaser. I believe people wouldn't be complaining had Geoff Keigly kept his mouth shut.
Gears of War 3 will be a sales regardless of what they do. Now, if they're talking about quality success, then there's a few things they need to fix.
*Make the Story and dialouge better
*Up the graphics and amount of things go on
*Make the gameplay less stiff.
*FIX THE MULTIPLAYER!!
That's what immediately comes to mind. Fix those things, and you got yourself an awesome game.
Remember all the awards UC2 got even before it was released? It's great to see ND getting all this praise and awards. They certainly deserve it.
Girls seem to prefer the Wii. I only know maybe 2 or 3 girls that actually game on the PS3 and 360.
Jack Tretton and even David Jaffe don't belong on the list.
Where's Aaron Green Greenburg and Dan Greenawalt? They definitely deserve to be on the list.
