Excellent news. Good to know.
I'm not saying Halo Reach is gonna be of poor quality, far from it. It looks like a great game. What I"m saying its, that Halo will sell regardless of quality. That's my point. Bungie devs don't need to worry about the sales, as it WILL sell a lot; therefore, they should focus on the quality of the game (which is what they seem to be doing).
Halo Reach will sell to 360 owners regardless of quality. Bungie could make a new 4 hour campaign, redo Halo's multiplayer and releases it for 60 bucks and it'd STILL sell 2 million+ in a very short time. While that's great for Bungie, I feel kinda bad for all those gullible gamers.
Anyways, I'm sure Halo Reach will be great. It's a full Halo this time, therefore expect it to be miles ahead of what ODST offered.

I can see what you're saying and I agree. ...
The PlayStation brand is defined by many games unlike the competition (Halo for MS, Mario for Nintendo). This is why I've chosen PlayStation as my console of choice since the release of the first one. PlayStation ftw!
The game doesn't look terrible, but it's nothing special either. I'm probably gonna buy it when it gets cheaper.
The 360 is leading ONLY becuase of the 1 year head start that everyone seems to forget about.
It's an expansion to a nearly two year old game that's only one one console. When you EXCLUDE HALF your fanbase you can expect sales to be underwhelming.
Yes, just like PS3 dominated in the games department last year they dominated in both games AND sales (compared to 360) this year and will do so again next year.
Um, lmao.
Because it offers a ton of stuff. My personal favorite is cloud storage. Sounds awesome. Like I've said before, I don't mind paying as long as I get my money's worth.
what? I did say the same thing about the Playstation wand. Read my comment correctly:
"I don't care about Sony's Motion controls or Natal, I have a Wii for that. "
EDIT:
@below- What are you talking about? Lol, I don't spend all my time on N4G
And like I said, if I wanted all that casual crap I'd be buying it on the Wii. Is it so hard to understand?
Mass Effect has been stated to be a trilogy for a long time. The third installment was obvious.
Bots are going crazy right now. I mean, just look at everything Sony is offering and for only a bit more than XBL membership. I especially like cloud storage. Not to mention that online gaming is STILL FREE.
PSN is still free. This are just extras for people who want it.
Now THAT'S something I'd pay for. But which one would be better. Option 1 or 2. Both are great deals, but I think number 2 is better.
So how would you play an FPS, or a TPS or a platformer? What exactly will Natal do that makes you so excited?
@below
exactly
Seriously, for the people so excited about Natal, why don't you buy a Wii? How come it's the very same people bashing the wii that praise Natal? Hypocrites.
I don't care about Sony's Motion controls or Natal, I have a Wii for that.
I"m gonna be buying the PS4 day one. The PS1, PS2, and PS3 have never disappointed me and I'm very confident in Sony.
On the other hand, I'm gonna wait a while to buy the next Xbox. After the terrible experience with the 360 hardware I'm gonna stay away for a while and I'm sure many others will do the same. MS mistakes this gen are gonna hurt them next gen.
Yes, but while we continue to wait for a visually impressive game on the 360, the PS3 is FAR ahead and continues to beat itself. KZ2 then UC2 then GOWIII then Heavy Rain. See the difference?
Completely agree. Turn 10 brought this upon themselves with all those stupid and impossible comments.
