Aliens? Like what Resistance did?
Great blog and I agree. There's nothing worse than loosing all your saved data if your console fails on you. I'm actually looking forward to cloud storage that Sony may be offering. It'll cost a bit, but it'll protect my data.
Ah, I knew I was missing something. I guess Splinter Cell moves down to 12. Though it underachieved, Fable II was still a lot of fun. I completed it twice and I'm on my third run through. Awesome game.
Demon's Soul is awesome, but I think UC2 really does deserve #1. It's just too amazing and near perfect. Anyways, PS3 owners get both of them, so who cares :D
Boll!?!??! NO, please, no. I don't want to suffer through another terrible movie. This guy will literally make everything he touches turn to sh1t.
ESRB is crap. Their rating system sucks. A lost of games (ESPCIALLY games such as Halo) shouldn't be rate M and then there's the games that SHOULD be rated M but aren't. Anyways, just from the Demo, Dante's Inferno is definitely an M rating.
My main complaint, however, is that the ESRB has way too much power. They should just rate the game, but no. Instead, devs are sometimes forced to cut stuff out to achieve a particular rating and that should not happen. AO games should NOT be...
I played the MAG beta and it's cool (I just couldn't get into it) but I'd take ME2 over MAG. Anyways one is an FPS and one is an RPG. No comparisons needed.
PS3 definitely has the best lineup this year.
I've played all the Halos (except Wars, I don't like RTS), and it's obvious the Combat Evolve is still at the top. Yes, Halo 3's online is a lot of fun, but the campaign is, imo, weak. ODST is just.. laughable (again, my opinion).
Since Reach is based on the novel (or at least, I think it is), I think the campaign this time around is gonna be both longer and better. Not to mention the fact the Bungie is probably going to perfect their multiplayer formula. Like I've said before I'm reall...
I think FFXIII is gonna be a great game, just not what SE originally promised (Best RPG of the generation, HA! not even close)
I know it's a trilogy, but why do they have to talk abou DLC before the game releases. I'm not just talking about Bioware, a lot of other devs are doing it as well.
In popularity and sales, no. In quality, definitely. Halo hasn't been the same since CE.
MS isn't doing too good. Why do you think they had very few exclusives? They can't buy third parties anymore.
It's a bit to early, but I think the GOTY next year is gonna be either GOWIII, AGENT, or TLG (if it comes out).
Sony doesn't need to offer an extended warranty because unlike MS, they delivered a reliable piece of hardware and weren't sued left and right until they were FORCED to offer the warranty.
People who think Forza is better than GT are either blind, playing on an SD TV or extreme fanboys. I'm sorry, but Forza doesn't even come close EVEN WITH TWO DISKS. GT is still king.
Oh, and the academy trial is to showcase the physics, that's it. So I don't see why you guys (especially the 360 fans commenting here) expected more. If you don't like it, erase it from your HDD and wait till a real demo or the full release.
Those games shouldn't be compared. UC2 is an action adventure game and ME2 is WRPG. AND they're completely different genres.
It's exclusive, so it'll be a LOT better than FFXIII. You can count on it.
@below
FFXIII isn't being dismissed for being "Girlie" it's being dismissed becuase it simply will never be what SE promised (The best RPG of the generation). It's a gimped version of what could have been, and FFvXIII will be what FFXIII should have been. I'm sure FFXIII will be good, but just not as good as it could have been.
I know, this really pisses me off. Developers talking about DLC and future titles even before the current one is released. I mean, that's just wrong. With DLC, they're basically telling us the game we'll be buying is NOT complete. At least wait for the game to release.
Seriously, if you have the choice you'd be incredibly dumb to buy to the 360 version. If you don't have a choice, well too bad.
