This just proves it bots, most of those games are multiplats. Go find a list of top 10 PS3 games and you'll surely find most of them are exclusives. So tell me what would you rather have: The greatest exclusives and multiplat or just 4-5 exclusives and some multiplats.
I watch gameplay videos and read some reviews to decide if I should buy a game. Of course in the end it's entirely my opinion and sometimes I'll buy games just on my gut feeling, but having reviews helps especially considering that $60 dollars is no money you can just throw away. I agree that people shouldn't base their own opinion on reviews but rather use them to decide whether or not the game is their type and if it's enjoyable.

I prefer PS3 more but I'm looking forward to L4D 2 on the 360 and... and.. um. well... yes.. . no... nope that's pretty much it. (Yeah I know it's on PC but I like consoles better, I just do). For the PS3 I'm getting Ratchet and Clank, Demon's Soul, LBP GOTY edition, MAG, Batman (w/ exclusive Joker), Uncharted 2 and I've already got KZ 2 and Infamous not to mention all the other great multiplats coming out. Yeah like someone said above it got affordable. There were too many games coming out and some of the lesser known games and new IPs were bound to get lost in the mess. At least certain games can get a better chance by releasing in 2010. As an owner of all 3 consoles this year has been great for me especially for the PS3 (Killzone 2, Infamous PSN games Multiplats etc).

Doesn't SONY own the publishing rights to FF VII? If that's so then perhaps SE would have to make the remake exclusive to PS3 and we all know just how much SE loves SONY.
I think perhaps they don't want to because they'd have to make it exclusive to PS3 (doesn't Sony own the publishing rights to FF VII) and we all know how much SE love SONY.

EA is a lot better this generation. A lot of new IPs and pretty much unbiased. Sure they milk some of their franchises but I think we can all agree that EA is greater than Activision
Damn bots celebrate when they get an old PS2 franchise on the 360 yet the PS3 continues to steal CURRENT gen exclusives and not a word is heard. I don't like MS, but I also don't want to see them leave. For all of it's failures the xbox 360 does have a lot of good games and we can't deny the fact that the xbox and 360 pushed forward online console gaming (yes I know the dreamcast had a primitive form of online gaming). Anyways, just like I want Nintendo and Sony to stay I also want MS to stay.
I'm starting to believe more and more that there will be a slim model this year. I already have a PS3 so I don't really care; however if the slim comes out I'll definitely consider getting one no scratch that I WILL get one.
