The 360 does have games; however, I don't like the fact that most of it's exclusives come out at the end of the year. The PS3 has been getting good exclusives all year while MS makes 360 owners wait like 8 months to get the good exclusives. Besides releasing so many games at the end of year means some of us have to compromise and only buy the really good ones. If it was spread across the year then perhaps we could purchase more of them. $60 ain't cheap.

I think the wii is definitely owning this generation (not to mention the fact that wii fit outsells halo 3 by a huge amount). In terms of quality it's a different story and can go both ways. I, personally, enjoy all three systems.

The thing is I don't think it would be wise of Microsoft to realease a handheld. Japan is a huge hand held country and the xbox brand isn't popular there. Without Japan the handheld would probably only succeed in the US and Europe. Still good, but it would never match the PSP's sales and definitely not the DS.

While Sony is struggling with PS3 sales compared to wii and 360 sales here in the US, you have got to remember that in total (PS2,Ps3, and PSP) Sony sold 480,900 units. So while the PS3 is having a hard time they're still getting money from the PS2 and PSP (The ps2 is probably really cheap to make now so they get more money right?). The TRUE sequel to the Metal Gear Solid series. Seriously MGS Rising should not be MGS it should just be Metal Gear: Rising. The only reason the "Solid" is there is so MS can brag about it.
Killzone 2 was an awesome game. Naughty Dog upgraded their engine a lot and I can't wait to to see what Guerrilla can do with theirs.

Last time I checked the PS3 is on it's third year (second in some countries) so why is everyone saying it's a failure? The 360 is in it's forth year so it's only logical to anyone with a brain that it would probably be outselling the PS3.
RE 4 is one of the best games I played but Ashley got really annoying sometimes. eh, I didn't really mind it that much.

Both the xbox 360 and PS3 will be getting a lot of AAA games this year. Sure, the 360 is getting most of them at the end of the year; however it IS going to get them and that's what matters. What I find frustrating is that almost all of the great games are coming out in fall/winter. How am I supposed to buy them all!? Seriously why can't they just spread them all across the year. I've not bought a new game since march when RE 5 came out and I'm not going to buy another game until maybe batman...

I recently got an xbox 360 and bought a 3-month xbox live card and I can say that I'll definitely be renewing when my 3 months are over to a full 1 year membership. It is awesome.
I think we all know who'll win. On a graphical level, Dante's Inferno does not look remotely as good as GOW3. I'm sure it'll be a good game and all, but it shouldn't be compared to GOW3 because they're in two completely different leagues.
This game looks great and I think it'll be on par with Heavy Rain. Both will be innovative games for their consoles. I'm looking forward to both of them. What I'm interested in is the structure. From what this article says it seems like it will be complex and maybe even different endings depending on what you do. Sounds awesome. The graphics are also amazing there's no denying that.
I agree that the price sucks, but for someone like me who doesn't have the map dlc it's a good purchase. Besides the gameplay will be no doubt awesome. Not to mention the Halo Reach Beta :)
