I am so anti-subscription gaming services. Now I play on STEAM mainly due is free but in all honesty Sony and Microsoft are just ripping its customers off because they can get away with it and gamers don't put up a fight no more. STEAM does what Plus and Gold offer for free. Anyone that comes to me and says videogames are a business I will gladly point them to STEAM.

Unfortunately the mentality that games are for kids or toys persist till this day. I am appalled by the disgruntled gamers and journalists being disgusted or shocked by the non-existant rape scene. Not a fan of top lists but this list stated clearly and concise what are the 6 elements missing in today's modern shooters. It brought tears to my eyes while playing bioshock for its emotional story and brought me nostalgia for collecting med kits. I really wish more games brought med kits and that is the problem today's shooters are all spectacle lack substance
Great review and yes this is my first artsy walking game. I was surprised by the lack of gameplay to the point that I wanted so bad to examine the books, medical equipment scattered around and also some puzzles would of help to expand and add more meaning to say story. Is just how can I call dear esther a game when there is no puzzles, enemies, etc. all I do is walk from point A to point B; nevertheless, it delivers a great emotional story.
