the point being developers have forgotten how to make money in this video game industry. Free to play with the game free and online free and only pay for dlc ok makes sense. But having to pay $60.00 plus tax turn around pay for useless dlc content like horse armor is just bs. We as gamers should not allow game developers and publishers continue with microtransanctions for retail games.
I am all for change don't fear it, but those changes have to improve the game industry not make it worse. I still do not see how gamers can benefit from contracts one a console. Sure it makes the console cheaper but in order for the gamer to enjoy his/her console they must pay $15-20 a month. That is not a good change at all. While visuals are nice and all, I am glad that hopefully this upcoming gen it will end consoles holding back PC gaming. The beauty of PC gaming for me is the freedom and the ridiculous choices a PC exclusive offer like the wrpgs, that let you have families get drunk and tired within the game. While I do agree with you as and respect you. I strongly believe this is the end of consoles being partnered with retailers. Just by watching the ps4 conference. All I saw was cloud computing (gakai) the and the big push of digital distribution. Come on we as gamers saw the whole ability to play games while the game is downloading, the idea of expanding the play station store, the digital movie/tv show services, etc., etc.. The big three no longer need the retailers anymore.
Question how can I play steam games while it downloads? I tried it did not work, what I can do is download a game then play another game.
