Most likely yes. What I do see is the remastered editions of PS3 games.
Digital is just a file nothing more nothing less. For crying out loud Steam is gradually releasing their STEAM library on Linux. Sony just wants to sell the remastered editions of PS3 games that is all. My point is Sony could of gradually release some of the digital games you bought as a customer on PS4. Now that is for PS3 digital games but PS2 and PS One should of easily being transferred along with your indie titles ( Pretty much all indie Steam titles are available on Linux). Ma...
Wait so it's impossible to transfer your digital game library to PS4. Damn, that sucks it should of been easier for multiplat games due to those multiplat games were on PC.....
Excellent well written article even though I disagree with the idea of patching a game due to developers being lazy or rushed by the publisher. Meaning less videogame testing is done uggghhhh!!!!!! Second is pretty rare to see DLC enhancing a game by moving the game forward. Well Bethesda is good at this and so is rockstar or Valve but apart from them is just free unlockables charge at a price no longer free horse armor, $5.00 for a fighter in a fighting game really ummm no just no....
The blog is garbage. I do want to point out that Microsoft did created a corporate environment. Meaning selling games at a piece meal as opposed to whole, free unlockables are now DLC, map editors have become map packs, mini games are gone. Alternate endings are a b c and lots and lots of micro transactions like online passes, horse armor and such. I am very pleased to see console gamers for telling Microsoft to go kick rocks in regards to xbox one policies. The future is brighte...
That last sentence rings true in the sense now Sony is ensuring to get exclusive DLC content which is more likely to happen. Charges to pay to play online. No backwards compatibility ; however, it was Sony not Microsoft that brought the remastered edition of PS2 games were praise for it instead of complaining the removal of BC. .....
Is easier to make a current generation game on the wii u run at 1080p 60 frames per second. For example what is easier to run at 1080p 60 frames per second a 2.5 dimensional game like New Super Mario Bros U or say something like Watchdogs. That's my point take it or leave it
You are welcome and yeah Tres FX is fairly new it was used in Tomb Raider reboot.
Very enjoyable blog a lot better than your previous blog. I whole heartily agree with everything on this blog. I do strongly believe Tres FX (fluid hair for video game characters) will add new gameplay mechanics like the hair catching on fire, getting tangle, or be able to grab a characters hair and slam him/hair onto the ground in a fighting game. Physyx makes the game come alive it will be nice to have dust in games to blind the enemy and make a escape route. ..........
Actually upgrading a PC for gaming purposes sounds redundant unless you are upgrading it for graphic design, game design, video editing, special effects. Really a $400.00 AMD Gaming PC with the Pile Driver CPU (8 cores) , 8gbs of DDR 3 ram, Sapphire GPU. What upgrade for gaming purposes do you need I ask. The only thing may be the hard drive other than that is about it. Don't forget the steambox can be dual boot with Windows. What Valve is going to offer is brilliant but to...
Come on you like scenario one don't you. Okay onto Valve Steam machines. Man oh man does the steambox be able to turn console gamers into PC gamers absolutely freaking hell yeah. Worst case scenario Valve gets too excited for the steambox so much so that it decides to release 12 different versions of it with the low end steambox costing $600.00. But I extremely doubt that is going to happen.
Valve decides to release a $200.00 Nvidia Integra 4 steambox no I am j...
I really enjoyed the blog but I don't see smartphones killing consoles. I do see the smartphone becoming the competition for your consoles. Think about it the xbox one and PS4 have a soup up "ultra mobile APU processor" designed for ultra thin laptops, tablets, and notebooks. So even though it has better clock speed, double the physical cores, and more shaders it's still an ultra mobile processor. So it easily explains how the vita is capable of running PS4 gam...
The key here is consoles cannot cost more than $400.00. Which is one of the major reasons as to consoles reaching their hardware limits. Second is the fact that consoles are terrible when it comes to non gaming related tasks. A smartphone on the other hand there is no limit to the cost of the phone which gives engineers to micro size the parts inside the phone without worrying about passing a price ceiling ($400.00). Second a smartphone is technically equivalent to your OEM from over clo...
I,I agree in regards that mobile gaming room service to pass the time. With that said I am very disappointed that more and more console games are getting less and less and less videogame content like mini games, alternate paths, hidden passages, hidden levels. The other downside to console gaming is console gamers are paying more and more like dlc or microtransanctions, online passes, the club membership to play online. Is ridiculous, people that buy mobile games for their...
Yikes the blogger on the defensive, anyhow I ask is it possible to sell a console with 10 cores and 10gbs of ram at $400.00 no is not. Consoles have reached the limits of hardware. The whole point for Sony and Microsoft investment on cloud computing technology was to move from selling hardware into selling a service. Basically, to execute and succeed on what Onlive failed and that is able to stream games directly from your television set. That will happen five years from no...
Wow never thought about that
Please explain, I don't understand your statement are you being sarcastic.
I concur that from what I experienced from Sony as a corporation in regards to indies is the fact that some not all indie game developers have succeeded in the Playstation platform; such as, that game company behind flower, q games the company behind the pixel junk series. My point is that Sony has not ruined or drove indie developers insane. The only downside is that Sony fails to promote say indy titles, that's the major issue with Sony the lack of marketing and hyping ...
rest in peace Tom Clancy
Oh come on not able to transfer your digital PS3 library not even indie titles wich do not stressed the PS3 at all that is weak. Sony just wants to resell the games we pay for. Another reason why I am sticking to PC gaming.
