My biggest fear is Playstation Plus and the reason why is that it has a 99 percent chance of The Last of Us remastered edition becoming a free game for PS Plus members. Which it happened to Tomb Raider definite edition is currently free for PS Plus members. So why waste $60.00 for The Last of Us remastered edition if is going to end up free of charge for PS Plus members. Don't want to talk about Pacquiao vs Bradley that was the most faked match I ever seen it just felt like it was staged....
What about Sony promise of complete access to all Playstation games from PS One to PS3 via Playstation Now for a monthly fee did that got canned or still in development. If is still in development why not wait for that and be able not only play the Last of Us remastered but all the PS3 games for a monthly fee is decent. Now I see why backwards compatibility got canned it was not due to different architecture (PS3 offered PS One and PS2 backwards compatibility with better visuals), or beca...
I am disappointed with the gaming community accepting this remastered editions for $60.00 plus tax in the case of The Last of Us, Tomb Raider, and the upcoming Metro 2033 redux edition (first Metro game only). But when me and extremely few gamers that demanded backwards compatibility we were blasted to hell. The other downside is Playstation Now wich will allow gamers complete access to all Playstation games from PS One to PS3 for a monthly fee similar to PS Plus. So I mean wait for P...
Nice blog
All the actual gaming news sites are gone. The PA report the only gaming website to actually talk about the flaw of sales, the only website had the balls to talk about "the first sale doctrine", that managed to get information from U. S. Navy official website during the xbox one policies for a brief time. Yeah it got shot down. GameSpy the only website to bring the history of PC gaming yeah is gone too. 1up that really explained what the steambox was also gone. All these ...
To the contrary it's what is helping gaming by bringing new ideas, new ways to play games, and storylines that mainstream game developers would not touch.
Which sucks ass, at least with STEAM I buy the game once and that's it.
PC and maybe PS4. Hey it won't be long to get a wii u emulator.
$300.00 on what may I ask?
Play on whatever you system you like and in all honesty PC gaming is the right choice for me. No yearly subscriptions to worry about. Able to play all the PC games I purchased in 2009. Mods, etc. the PC is a far better option in my opinion than any console out there.
Me too
If you live in England "The First Sale Doctrine" has finally been implemented for digital distribution this means the consumer has the legal right to buy used games digitally, trade, and share games digitally including able to return games digitally. Sadly is only available in England and some other parts of Europe not the rest of the world damn it
But physical copies in the United States are going the way of the dinosaurs. What if five or six years from now you can only get your games via digital distribution then what stop playing games.
I really don't trust PSN or Xbox Live. All those purchases of indie games, Playstation Classic Games and any PSN mainstream game for that matter was prohibited to be played on PS4. Basically new console re-buy all your games whether is digital or physical pathetic really.
Sony in house studios bring new ips not just the same franchises like Nintendo or Microsoft. Little Big Planet brought basic to mid modding tools to consoles. Uncharted brought the ability to shoot and go into melee combat without delay, able to shoot from any ledge, ladder, or cliff. Some basic stealth mechanics included. The Getaway first game with no screen clutter or health bar like Halo which allowed the gamer to use shields or invincibility for a few seconds. Ratchet and Clan...
Typical of Nintendo, not wanting to truly innovate through their ips. To Nintendo if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Wow I am surprised the Amazon fire tv was considered a gaming console when in the name says tv. Also, it is the challenger for Apple tv and roku nothing more nothing less
Best opinion piece ever.
I don't understand this community at all backwards compatibility bad I don't play old games I play new games. Pay $60.00 plus tax for pretty versions of last generation games good because I never played these games before. In that case for those that still own a PS3 buy the cheaper PS3 version. Damn no wonder console gaming is becoming like a cell phone service console gamers just give in too easily. At least I can buy all the classic games on PC for $5,$2,$10.00 for the entire c...
If it becomes free of charge for PS Plus members does the Last of Us still worth the $60.00 plus tax
