On topic, while I'm disappointed by the news, I'm not super surprised either, as I think I remember Squeenix saying that the game would almost certainly be playable in later 2007 which makes TGS is a much more likely date anyway (THE big Japanese show, big Japanese games) it makes sense.
Did you actually click the link where on the site, you can see the map of Santa Monica and the various locations for Sony events...and the VERY CONSPICUOUS two white trucks driving all around the main streets, which when clicked on show a giant Helghast soldier...

I could be wrong, but it seems like all these videos from jeuxvideos are the E3 demos being previewed by the staff. I know Tameem is unhappy about the new HS footage on You tube. Maybe all these are leaks as well!

Bazooka FTW!! Oh, and blood in-game confirmed! The environmental details are really quite astonishing. Finally seeing the explosions is quite an impressive sight. The new trailer that played before the gameplay footage, is the first trailer to really bring back the feeling of mass chaos and excitement of the original E3 2005 one.

There in fact is ZERO CGI in this game. Everything uses the game engine. And about the camera angles: there is manual adjustment available during combat

Indeed, they are straight out of the E3 05' trailer! Pretty much the same scenery and everything. These pics really prove the epic scale of this game. I just hope the AI really lives up to the promises of the developers. On a side note, the large-scale battles graphics have improved from previous screen shots!

Pretty crazy! Is this the same Sony Gamer's Day build though? It definitely is the same level.. I wish the video quality was higher, but it still looks great. Hey, ND always delivers!
I'm not terribly surprised, the developers have all along said that Mass Effect is the videogame equivalent to dark sci-fi fare such as Blade-Runner, and the E3 demo seemed to suggest a pretty adult tone as well. Anyhow, I really hope it is on track for a fall winter release! I can't wait to play it.

I think I can say with 100% certainty that Crysis on max settings easily looks better than 2005 Killzone CGI. OMG!! that second video was mind blowing!! Haze, and Uncharted look good, but this is really within a few percentage points of photo-real. The problem is that few will be able to enjoy it like this, 'til at least a year so after it comes out..!
