My comment may have mislead you. Meant no disservice to Deep Down, it was purely a comment aimed at Dark Souls (not therefore insinuating that Deep Down is just about graphics)
I am interested in Deep Down but I do have a gut feeling it will be a disappointing. Hope I'm wrong though.
Dark Souls is about so much more than graphics.
Have a gut feeling that this game is going to be a big disappointment. Hope my gut is wrong
I completely understand if someone wants to wait for the PC or 'Current Gen' versions, why not. For such an epic and engrossing game why not wait to play it at its absolute best. as aLiEnViSiToR said .. patience is a virtue.
That being said the experience on previous gen is still outstanding and looks beautiful irrelevant of hardware. The current gen and PC versions will provide more immersive environments but the experience will remain nion the same. (Experience wil...
First time I've actually watched gameplay footage, it looks pretty damn good
Get the missus to play it for the first 10 minutes and record it, hilarious!
Very good game.
In the first comparison with the plane the D.E lighting looks a bit better, Lara seems a bit washed out in the PC version. In the second comparison the TressFX hair looks even better on D.E (just that bit more textured and sharper) however the PC looks far more extreme with all the blood, making her look like one tough cookie so for effects going with the PC version on that one, graphical fidelity I think the D.E has the edge overall. Impressive job and exciting to see them getting this level...
If those screens are in-game then it looks pretty tasty
I'm extremely keen on the idea of one. I haven't quite got the motivation to upgrade my PC which it is starting to need so for me it is a great option to have something pre built and an 'open system' as i enjoy upgrading with the times. It's going to come down to the games supported on steam OS, can you use a keyboard and a mouse as some games I do like to use.
Here's a list of the machines and their specs mate

Also will the Nvidia based Steam machines have support for Nvidia's new G-sync? (if you have a G-sync monitor that is) And the AMD ones 'Freesync' and Mantle. I'd assume some will such as the cyberpower as that features an R9 270. Theres lots to learn about these machines.
Does anyone know if you can hook up a keyboard and mouse to them?
At £699 I just can't see the value. The specs really aren't that impressive to justify double the price of a PS4. I'd rather build my own PC for less, with more power and hook it up to my TV if that's what you want. And you can get some very small well designed cases nowadays. obviously not as small as a 'set top box' but ones that wouldn't look too monstrous in a living room.
I was excited when Steam machines were first announced, but for ...
Player count isn't everything, far from it. This game still looks awesome. Judge it once you have played it
PS and PC user
Well I got excited for nothing.
Outlast PS4, if you have a PC play it now
Huge fan of the KZ series but saw enough video footage to see it offered nothing even close to game changing, simply a KZ game in new environments and better graphics. Would still have lots of fun with MP though as with KZ2 and 3. For me its just an average FPS that could have been released on PC anytime within the last few years. Only because its a console next gen release title that people made a fuss over it.
The saboteur really was a great game
Seems many do not want a sequel to The Last of Us. Think I agree, although if there is anyone who can ensure the sequel not only holds up to the original but also surpasses/builds on it then it is Naughty Dog.
Cracked me up
No problem, Ditto
