@miyamoto: Do you honestly think that? DOTA 2 is the only game that's actually on Steam.
Don't get me wrong. I'm the first one who thinks X-platform-gaming may be great, but there are some technical difficulties and some difficulties in many heads that stand between the platforms.
I had a lot of fun with Duke Nukem Forever. It was the game I expected. For Alien fans this must be a major letdown though. Perhaps if there was a new movie and the IP had gotten a bit new blood and some more interest recently, they would have put some more resources in the production.
All in all I have to say that I didn't understand a lot of things that have been going on with SEGA in the last few years.
Killzone 2 and 3 have had great gfx for current gen's consoles. On top of that they have made really good design and have worked with some visual finesses to let the games look as good as possible on that hardware.
The games have never been a match to the gaming benchmarks on pc though. How could they?

I don't think that his point is invalid. Many games I played had match making issues on PS3. That's not peer to peer, that are server issues.

I thought next gen graphics began with BF3. BF3s graphics are the goal for the coming console generation. Some devs will hit that quality but not all of them. Sooner rather than later we will see devs who will squeeze even a bit more out of those coming machines, but that's it.

Wait and see! Until the final specs will be revealed no one will know what the PS4 will be capable to do.
But I find it strange that most people expect the PS4 to be less expensive than the PS3 was at launch and on the other hand they expect the PS4 to render gfx that can now be rendered by GPUs that are just slightly less expensive than the PS3 was at launch.
@Outside_ofthe_Box: I agree on many points you made. For me KZ2 was just not enjoyable because of the controls, so I didn't play it. KZ3 was the best FPS on the PS3 for my taste and play style. Didn't mean to offend or criticise you personally!
KZ2s controls have been laggy, so it was unplayable for many people. I don't think that Guerilla Games will implement those laggy controls again, because so many people complained about them. I found KZ2 unplayable and loved KZ3. But hey, just a matter of taste! If they really manage to bring KZ4 as launch title, that will sell consoles for sure. Count me in!
You're right, but after so many years of redundant discussions which console may be better, even the most die hard fans may have recognized that each has it's strenghs and weaknesses.

I don't care about gamestop and I don't care about drm. It didn't kill pc gaming and it won't kill console gaming.
The variation of cars in the game is very good so far. No lame FW but I can do well without them.
Just play it on PC (PCSX2).
I think they can charge whatever they want, that doesn't justify piracy. On top of that many gamers are willing to pay 60$ for extremely crappy games like ***** (insert whatever you hate most) and crappy ports like ***** and now people complain about R* when they want to charge a bit more? R* will deliver quality entertainig. Sooner or later the game will be playable without any major bugs and it will be a hell lotta fun. Let it come!
I bought GTA I, II, III, VC, SA, IV and LCS for 10€ on Steam. That's a good price!
