@AndrewLB: Why not be a gamer and play on multiple platforms?
I don't see the point in arguing over a seriously broken game.
On PC we experience crashes, sound crashes and a terrible netcode.
No time for pixel count.
I agree. Exept your release in US first crap.
Games should release simultaneously in all regions.
I think they will try to milk the series this gen and they will ruin it that way.
Makes me sad...
Of course developers will know the hardware better in some time, but don't expect big differences like we saw on PS2 and PS3 in the past. These patforms are x86 and no powerful but exotic Cell.
I speak fo myself: R*'s release tactics are the reason why I wait until the game costs me 15 Euro with all DLC on steam.
Why do we have to wait for a PC version? It's a shame!
We have to accept that it's not about games or us gamers when the media is talking crap like "resolution does not matter". It's all about the money.
STFU! Fix the PC version! Sons of b!tches!!!
Fix the game!!!
Come on, people. Don't disagree! Aeon is right. The game is not polished. The campaign is buggy and the MP has even more problems at the moment. Not that they are not working on the game, but they had the same problems with the beta and did not manage to get it right for release.
The game is great, but not finished. Those who preordered and bought at release, are beta testers right now. This includes me and I am on the bright side of that experience. I have only few crash...
Yes, I did see that. When you want to compare temperatures, you have to measure the temperature in the same manner.
Temp. reads from a sensor on the PCB vs. temp. reads from a sensor on the PCB.
It is physically impossible that the air that is supposed to transport the heat away from the device has the same temperature than the device itself. And measuring the temp. of the air is irrelevant unless you know exactly the efficiency of the cooling unit and the surrounding temperat...
Are people in here comparing temperature reads of PC GPUs with thermal camera shots? O_o
I think the thing will be quite a bit hotter in the inside.
CoD 4 was fun! What happened since... I don't care.
And on consoles you don't have to deal with those old games and steam-sales too. ;)
I have counted my games for consoles and added the price differences between them and the PC versions. With that difference I could build a high end machine right now.
This gen only exclusives on Playstation for me everything else on PC. It's good to be flexible.
Agree. So looking forward to Killzone Shadowfall. What a shame, we (Europe) have to wait longer... :(
Same here. It is a bit bugggggggy atm, but i can really recommend it to everyone. The maps are great and it is definitely not a full price map pack like the CoDs are.
Ok, i didn't know that.
Whatzzz the buzzz??? I must admit that my CoD history began with CoD 4 and ended with CoD W@W, and I am far from praising anything what happened to the series since, but come on! The game has not released yet on the new consoles. BF4 Beta ran on my desktop struggeling to achieve stable 40 fps and now I have 60 fps allmost all the time.
When you are insecure if you want to buy the game on either platform, wait until it's released, read the media AFTER release, ask your friends who ...
That would be the first MGS I don't buy. Sorry.
To be honest the right answer to this release tactics is to wait for the PC version to be really cheap with all DLC.
I love GTA and have bought all of them and some of them twice, but this tactic to let PC gamers wait just so sell the crap out of it on consoles is a nasty one. Tactics like these disgust me and are an insult to PC gamers.
