I really love all GTA games that I have played and I still play the older ones from time to time, but I also think that RDR was the most unique world they've created and the MP portion of the game was unique and entertaining too.
I would love to play RDR again... on PC, but that's a dream and I fear it will never happen.
RDR is one of my favorite games of all time. Best game of Rock*'s? I don't know. It's a question of taste.
And it plays very well allready. I recommend to test it!
Depending on the resolution you want to display you will have a lot of fun with one of those cards for some time.
Not every game in the next 2 years will be BF 3 like gfx. So no need to worry as long as 1080p is enough for you.

Exactly, reynod! Even in their strong divisions their strategies are weak.
Just to name an example: I think it is very clear that half of the gamers prefer the dualshock controller over the XIM. How many dualshocks could have been sold to PC gamers all over the world? Instead they have to rely on a homebrew driver for using the dualshock with their PC.
SONY has some of the best products but fails to sell them properly.
Even the first point he makes is not true. When I sell a game I bought new, I have more money to buy the next game. When you see the gaming market as a whole, the whole argument is pointless.
I don't know why the SP campaign of BF 3 should be called half hearted. I played it on hard and had a good time with it.
Most of those who criticise it compare it to CoD. That would not do the game justice, because each game has it's strengths and weaknesses. After all it's just a matter of taste.
I enjoyed the single player. People will always find things to complain about or to defend the things they like.
I don't know exactly how to put it, but isn't it rediculous to negotiate development and improvement.
Wether or not we need a better machine, the nature of the human spirit is to push the limits in every aspect of life.
Seriously, I want a PS4 and I want a better gfx card and I want a faster car. Wouldn't it be stupid not to want that?
I used to be a misinformed console gamer.
Now I have a i7 and a GTX 580 in exact the same case that is displayed with this article in addition to my PS3. Exclusives on the PS3, anything else on my PC. Couldn't be happier!

But: the best thing is to get all emblems, start a new game, and listen to "Snake Eater" on your ipod. Never got a better reward in a game. Goose bumps guaranteed!
As a distribution service it is pretty poor compared to steam.
The Battlelog and the integrated chat and friendlist and partysystem are great imo, but that has nothing to do with origin.
So at this point (origin is claimed to be beta) origin is useless. But it's OK. That's right. ;)
It is unlikely that the game will not be released for current gen hardware.
I wait for PC anyway.

I still find it astounding that the 600 dollar price tag of the launch PS3 still is an element in the sales debate. Especially when millions of people spend similar amounts of money on smartphones.
I did not buy a single smartphone in my life but I bought 2 PS3s and a gaming PC with a GTX 580.
Some of my friends refused to buy a PS3 but bought every new iphone and at least one ipad in the last couple of years.
The amount of money we spent was the same, but I bet I had ...
I allready have 1797 assists with the drone. I spend whole games spotting targets and instructing my squad mates. So 'no one' is not correct! ;)
And btw: I've never used my drone to kill someone. ;)
With a price like that and the lower prices for games on PC, it's cheaper than having one of the consoles when you play a lot of games.
This whole argument about gfx is bs. There is a big difference between the "last" next gen an this time. We hat SD TVs and played PS2 and Xbox an then we got HD TVs and played PS3 and X360. There was a change in resolution that we won't have next gen.
What gamers should expect from next gen is console gaming with good AA and a performance of 60 fps.
